I'm pretty sure that most of the details of his death have in fact, been exposed.
If you can't read between the lines of Tillman's brother was actually saying, I can't help you.
A: he's not inviting anyone to read between the lines. He is as direct and upfront as you can get. You want to believe Tillman was murdered, so you see things that aren't there.
Secondly, do you think that an American solidier has never been murdered by his own fellow sodiers on purpose in war and covered up as friendly fire? I am sure it actually happens a lot.
How long have you been in the army? I thought you were a film producer.
I know a lot of people in the Armed forces, and no, it doesn't happen as often as you think it does, if it happens at all. When a soldier kills another soldier - the govt. generally doesn't have any interest in covering it up. It wouldn't make sense for them to do so.
Since you love movies so much - what are your feelings on the The Hurt Locker with the scene showing two American soldiers discussing taking out Renner, essentially cause they don't like him and his methods of doing things and mention how easy it would be to cover up. Do you think that's probably an accurate discussion that happens in war?
No. Only an idiot would think that soldiers conspiring to kill one another is a common occurrence. It was dramatic and all that, but that particular scene was pretty universally dismissed as fiction by everyone I've heard talk about it.
