Do you understand how many different people with no clear motivation would have to be involved - would have to want to be involved - in the murder of a fellow soldier? and not just a fellow soldier but one who stepped away from his priveleged life to stand shoulder to shoulder with them?
What is the explanation for why all these people who should be predisposed to view Tilman favorably, ranging from middle class college educated officers to possibly dirt poor immigrants and sons of immigrants? Im not sure what the makeup of his platoon was but they along with everyone else going up the chain of command represent a pretty diverse lot.
What was the motive behind this "murder"?
