Cincinnati restaurants/bars

A couple friends are heading to Cincinnati and have one free evening to have dinner, drinks or some entertainment. They are mid-thirties ad execs so something upscale but interesting would be best. Any recs for an interesting restaurant or bar?

If you were looking for a little younger(early-mid 20's) crown and some nice looking chicks...I would suggest that you take a very short cab ride to KY(Newport) and hang out there! I have had many a good night there on my firm's dime!

Last time I was in Cinci I ate: http://www.viaviterestaurant.com/ It was a hip, trandier kind of Italian place. I sat at the bar (which was very good), but they also have rooftop tables, and since they're right on Fountain Square that's very cool. I also had drinks at Orchid Bar, part of the Hilton there. It's archetecturally stunning, if you're into Art Deco. I didn't stay for dinner, but it's supposedly one of the best restaurants in Cinci. http://www.orchidsatpalmcourt.com/ ~ H

The Hyde Park and Mt. Adams neighborhoods are both chock full of upscale restaurants and bars.

I really enjoy the Mayday bar in Northside: http://www.maydaynorthside.com/ I will likely be there this coming Friday.

Grammer's in Over-the-Rhine is amazing, beautiful stained glass windows and all that shit, 135 year old building. Great german bar. here is a decent pic: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kDtxVcGGg0...h/Grammers.jpg

Zip's tavern in Mount Lookout is another to check out. Great burgers, decent selection of beers on tap.

I doubt any of these are SF appropriate, but I enjoy them.
