Do you mean "Vero Cuoio"? You see it on lots of shoes from different labels. I think that just means the shoe displaying this mark uses genuine italian leather for it's sole and was manufactured by factory who is a member of Consorzio Vero Cuoio Italiano (Genuine Italian Leather Consortium).

I got those brown suedes for $25 last year on eBay. I have a wide foot so appreciate some width but those shoes are really wide, like a EEE. I wore them a few times in winter weather and they weren't half-bad for $25 bad weather suede brogues but I wouldn't pay any more or buy other BR shoes - especially dress shoes.

Some people have commented that Allen-Edmonds are terrible at showcasing their shoes with pictures on the Internet and that the shoes look much better in person than on the net. I find the exact opposite is true of BR. They are masters at making the most unattractive shoe look very nice on a screen. The shoes look invariably worse in person than they do in snazzy BR photo shoots.

I have the same pair. Clunky, hideous, uncomfortable. I hate 'em.
