See the number under "Artikel?" It looks like: 584700 51

Well, I feel like I'm a magician revealing his magic, but it's REALLY simple: 51 means "2005 Spring/Summer" 52 would be "2005 Autumn Winter." So, the first number is the year, 1= Spring and 2= Autumn.

Now all you Yoox Jil buyers can go and peruse your closets and realize that jacket you bought thinking it was last season really comes from 2001. j/k

why you gotta spoil the fun dawg

Stay tuned for next week's edition: Deciphering the LV date code (actually, I think I did that years ago on another thread. ) It's funny what you can find out just by asking people who work for the company. From codes to the factories who hold their licenses, most of the time none of this stuff is a mystery. I think it's mostly the interwebz Big-Timers who try and keep it secret. I remember years ago on the LV forums people were always trying to keep all that stuff secret. I guess people just want to feel needed, or feel better about paying $900 for shoes that are the same model put out under the factory's own name for $375.

so it took a reduction of price from 4000 to 250 to get someone to buy that.

You are by far the most useless poster on here, spammers are more productive than you.

entirely possible though, that the split is just because lambskin tends to be small.

Hey, I've got that Raf jacket.

I tried on one of those Jil colorblock leather blazers in HK a few months ago, though it was navy leather with a black wool split. Really nice leather, though the button stance and overall silhouette made it look very unflattering on most body types.

So I kept this Jil Sander leather blazer. Sorry for my previous horrible pictures. Now the same blazer showed up on Yoox (with better pics than mine). Just in case those who asked me to sell it are still interested, it's here, in the Yoox 'private room'. Available in 42 and 44 for $ 690.00.
