Everyone just hates that fucking guy for destroying NBC. I miss Brandon Tartikoff.

MrG - crazy story to tell you. I know dreams are only interesting to those who had them, but it's a thread about a corporate move that no one cares about so here goes -

Last night I dreamed I cuckolded Mike Bobo, in front of Mike Bobo. It was weird. I have no idea what Mike Bobo looks like or his wife, but I was railing the hell out of her as he looked on tearily. Pretty bizarre. I can't tell if it's a projection of my feelings about college football offensive coordinators (i.e. Jeff Bowden) or just a weird dream in general. Thoughts?

I don't know what to say, but I can tell you that I have been to Florida on two occasions, and man was it hot! I used to have family in Niceville, Pensacola area, and the beaches were very white (sand, not people) and very nice. My uncle bragged about his Jordache swimwear...that's how long ago it was.

How long did you stay? And Jordache swimwear?! That's a hoot! Remember "honeys wearing Sassoon"?

This is outstanding. I can't think of what she looks like, but I do know they have like five kids under the age of five, so I would imagine there'd be some...uh..."room." Moreover, I'm willing to bet you'd be working with bigger holes than Bobo's O-line gives our running game.

As a Georgia fan, I fully support the cuckold Mike Bobo initiative, especially if it leads to him getting out of Athens for good.

Also, in your dream, did he ask you to make any adjustments, or was he OK with you going up the middle over and over and over? I ask because I wonder how dream Bobo compares to real Bobo.

He wanted a lot of adjustments, and had a lot of comments, most of which I ignored. His wife was very hot though. You going to the game Saturday or are they away? 0-3 in SEC play would be

I was there for a month or so in the summer. By the time I got back to North Dakota, I looked like a Mexican with flecks of white sand in his clothes. The first time I was there I got stung by a jellyfish. The same uncle -- let's just call him "Gary" (that's his real name) -- got stung by a jelly on his dick when he pulled his shorts (presumably not Jordache) down to pee in the ocean. Who does that?

You went to Florida in the SUMMER? I guess with school, that's the only possible time, but Florida is pretty damn hot in the summer. North Dakota though, is beautiful.

You'd think the pee would instantly counteract the jellyfish sting? It's funny, I swam in the Gulf for most of my adult life (grew up eight blocks away from it) and never fell victim to a stingray or jellyfish. Why do you still live in North Dakota?

I think she's probably pretty cute IRL. Most of those younger coaches' wives are the cute-but-knockout types.

They're away at Miss. State. I really don't think they'll lose this one. SC and Arkansas are probably two of the three or four best teams in the SEC right now, and Georgia played them close. I have a feeling Miss State will keep it close, but Georgia has to win one at some point. I can't fathom being 1-3 (0-3) in a year where people were picking the Dawgs as a dark-horse for the SEC Championship. That said, the cowbells scare me a little, and MSU can be a coach killer, so I wouldn't bet the proverbial farm on Georgia.

Well, St. Timmy and the Gators thought that same thing, and look what happened to them. I really need to get up there to see a game this year.

Do you think Mark Richt should get the boot? He kicked ass as our coordinator, and I still think he's a good coach.

I don't want to offend any of my Florida friends, but the state has no allure for me.

You know what I want to do in the next year or two? Go stay and play at some Robert Trent Jones resorts. Has anyone done that?

Florida is an acquired taste, I can certainly appreciate that, but if you avoid the larger cities, it can be really interesting. And the Keys are great, Miami has excellent food, and Jupiter/Palm Beach are nice for teh rich folks like you.

I'd defer golf resort choices to my esteemed colleague in Athens. Although I did read a fascinating biography of certain Roberty Tyre Jones. That man was a straight pimp.

Come on up. Just pick a weekend.

I'm not a member of the "Fire Mark Richt" bandwagon, but things need to start to turn around. I'm old enough to remember the Dawgs of the 90s, and he did enough a lot to turn the program around so I'm willing to give him a year or two's worth of the benefit of the doubt. Plus, he did what had to be done with our DC at the end of last season.

That said, I'm firmly on the "fire Mike Bobo" bandwagon, and, while I would hate to see Richt go, my opinion of Richt could really be affected by whether or not Bobo is our OC next season.

You know, I did the spring break thing, which I know isn't a good view of Florida. Also, as a kid, not much to judge by.

It's just that there's so many places to go. IDK. Maybe if Rush invited me to stay at his place.

I'm not a big fan of the Sunshine State, either. I miss it begrudgingly, at best. FLMM is right, though, the best parts of Florida are the parts that don't make the tourism advertisements. If I ever went back I'd go to one of the smaller coastal towns, probably on the Gulf side, and spend my weekends on a boat.

As far as the golf resorts, given my interest in golf is so young, I don't have a lot of input. However, my father in law is a huge golfer who has played all over the state, so if you ever do make a trip down to play, I would be more than happy to ask him for some information on the best courses and golf resorts.
