Unfortunately I have to admit I do have a unibrow. So I was thinking of getting laser hair removal around that area but I read that it's dangerous to have it around your eyes. I wanted to ask people here because if I go to a laser hair removal place of course I'll get a very biased answer.

I think a better option for you is to look for electrolysis hair removal for that area. It's more precise, guaranteed 100% removal, and less risk of potential side effects. It shouldn't be expensive because treatment area is small.
The problem with laser hair removal is that it only works on coarse and dense dark hair. There is never 100% removal with laser, only reduction of 80-95%. If the hair is not coarse enough and dense, the laser won't kill roots. The eye danger is not an issue if the place you go to is highly skilled and professional. Do a lot of research of the place before you start treatments. Do not go for IPL lasers only seek out Alexandrite and/or ND: Yag lasers. Machine brands like GentleLase/GentleMax or Apogee Elite are the best in the industry. You will need at least 6 treatment spaced about 6-8 weeks apart.

Do it, but with caution. They should give you some type of eye protection and close your eyes as it's done.
IT HURTS. If you want to know how badly, take a rubber band and shoot yourself hard in the unibrow.
You will look sort of like your got razor burn in the area for about a week and it will likely take multiple treatments (Time it accordingly).
It is effective and permanent.

Isn't there a risk of skin discoloration with laser hair removal? If so, that would be a bad place for it.
Discoloration such as in hyper/hypo-pigmentation is not common but can and does happen when the laser technician is not experienced enough and doesn't calibrate the machine to proper settings for specific skin types of patients. It is generally considered a temporary side effect that can be treated with special creams. That's why going to a reputable clinic with different laser machines is important.
Thanks folks for the replies. I heard electrolysis hurts even more though? That's why I stopped looking into it. I mean they use needles.
Oh and by the way I have dark facial hair (black)...however I dont have white skin...it's a light brown.
Also I am in Toronto and the place I was looking at was Bellair Laser Clinic. Not sure if anyone has any experiences with them.

Hello my friends, I don't have unibrow problems, but I have considered getting laser hair removal on my sack so that I no longer have to shave it every other day. At the same time, I have serious qualms about letting anyone put a laser anywhere near my nuts. That's where the fun is made, and I don't want to risk spoiling the party. Anyhow, good thread.

Google a forum called "hairtell" sign up and post there. They have laser and electrolgist experts and consumers who share their experiences with clinics data base.
Eelectrolysis does not hurt more or less than laser. Actually it can even hurt less because the energy is applied to 1 hair follicle at a time while the laser beam zaps at least 30+ follicles with each zap. The "needle" is actually a probe that's thinner than a hair. It does not pierce your skin like a needle shot from a nurse because it is inserted into an existing hair shaft. So it's like sticking a straw into a cup--there is no pain. The discomfort is felt only when the energy is delivered to the hair root but it is very tolerable. Your better bet is to find an experienced electroligist who can shape the brow hair by hair while laser is best for large area work.

It's probably pretty safe, but just shave it down twice a month. I find that genital hair doesn't grow nearly as fast as facial hair so every other week is more than enough.
