Missing out on what? Hopelessly following some bullshit truck on twitter, to search for it, find it, then wait in line for an hour for food that is mediocre?

Wait is never an hour, even at its most packed I've only waited 10 minutes. And I'm talking lunch time rush hour.

You're probably not near all the good ones. They seem to frequent certain areas only.

How? Every time I try to stick my wingwang into the exhaust pipe, the fucking driver speeds off. I think he's onto my intentions.

The pate they used at places like Lee's is some kind of concoction not original to the French formula. Also, the bread is much longer and thinner than authentic bread used in Saigon. There's only one place that sell authentic banh mi in the whole of California but the chef there has converted his place to one that sells roasted duck and pig intestine for porridge. He does make authentic banh mi but only from 7-11am and only on Wed and Friday.

Banh Mi My Tho
304 W Valley Blvd
Alhambra, CA 91803

end of thread as far as i'm concerned. sandwiches are $2.25-$2.50. the little appetizers are also amazing, egg rolls, meatballs on a stick, and the meat filled puff pastries.

try to go off hours as it gets packed during lunch. or just call in your order.
