Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps

Am I the only one who thinks he's going to be vastly disappointed by Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps? Good God, Michael Douglas dead of throat cancer could still kick the ass of Shia Lebouf. I can't help but laugh every time his character swears he's going to destroy Gord Gekko in the latest trailer.

I don't even understand why Shia Lebeouf gets roles at all.

I would have liked to see something like Jacob (Shia) be even more ruthless then Gekko at his prime and Gordon trying to hold him back or something.

Agreed. That guy needs a new line of work.

If the trailer is any indicator, it appears that the story line is almost identical to the og?

This film will be so overshadowed by its predecessor that it's almost impossible for it to be "good".

I know for a fact that I won't be disappointed, because I'm not going to see it.

From the review, it follows the exact plot arc of the first, though with more sermonizing and less style. I'll netflix it.

He is adorable.

Is Shia LeBoeuf this generation's Harrison Ford? To wit: folksy acting style, Jewish mother, makes stupid faces in dramatic or intense scenes...
Harrison Ford always came off as a man's man. Shia is still a kid to me, not matter how serious he tries to be.

I wonder if diehard Wallstreet fans will show up opening night in suits, w/suspenders, slicked backed hair, etc.

I was thinking about seeing it coming from work today, and I am wearing a suit and braces...

Unfortunately I'm effing balding so the slicked back hair thing isn't there.
