Yeah well as usual they score and then are too busy patting each other on the back to show up for the faceoff at centre ice. I mean come on you know they're going to push back and Kes looks like the only one who cares. Thankfully Lu looks far more confident already, knock on wood.

Nashville is being totally dominated. Their defence and Rinne can give them some type of slack to work with but he can't do everything.

Their defence is half the problem. They appear to operate under the assumption that as long as they don't allow any tap ins from the crease they will win.

They better not have just called Ballard for a hipcheck. Are you ******* SERIOUS? 2 minutes for HITTING?!

Yea, that was a great-textbook hip check. The refs called a bad one.

It's just an example of referees trying to make a game where there is none. Christ, I swear sometimes I almost buy the conspiracy theories about them having some sort of mandate.

1-0 after 2, should be about 5-0 at this point.

The old Dairius Kaspiritis hip check always looks worse than it is, which is why it often draws penalties where there are none.

Markov, Gorges, and Pacioretty are all out but they still put up a good fight. The Bruins played pretty well defensively and their second and third lines showed up at times during the series. Thomas was shaky or lights out, depending on the night. Their first line was absolutely terrible though. Way too slow to manufacture anything. Horton's three goals overstate his importance in the series and Lucic was just terrible.
The Habs' rubbish offense wasn't surprising. Not sure what the point of Scott Gomez is. But that was a good performance given Montreal's limitations. They outplayed Boston overall and probably deserved to win. Nice to see someone else isn't convinced by Thomas. I've always felt like Timmy is livin' a lie. Also, that call on Ballard was bullshit. But not unexpected.

The shot, time of possession, takeaways, and face-off totals for Couver is insane.

Thomas is what he is -- he'll make some big saves, he'll give up some big goals. I still like him and he's one of the Bruins players that I actively root for when he isn't playing against my team.

I think the main frauds on Boston are on the first line. I'll be interested to see what the Flyers do against them.

I'm pretty sure the Van PK has more SOG than the NSH PP

It only ever takes one shot if you only have a one goal lead

Fair enough. I'm not a fan of Thomas and think he's the flukiest goalie since Hasek. As a Canucks fan, I was worried about potentially meeting the Bruins in the final. Now that I've seen much more of them in the Montreal series, I'm not worried. NB. I'm not assuming Vancouver will make the final.
