Lin played great but he isn't averaging triple doubles on the league. Durant is a special case because he is just of pure talent. I just see too many good games in the summer league from players that can barely crack a spot on the bench. You also have a lot of DLeaguers that average double-doubles but once called up could barely score a basket or barely impresses a coach in practice.
The Clippers continue to put together an impressive roster, getting free-agent forward Grant Hill to agree Tuesday to join the team, according to NBA executives who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.
Given Dolan's track record, this was pretty much a given. He'd probably prefer to pay Stephon Marbury at this point than Lin. He's letting his childish ego get in the way of millions in his pocket, excitement in the Garden and the possibility of being set at the point guard position for the next 10 years. I'm happy for Lin though, I think with the team they are putting together in houston, he is going to get a chance to really shine, something that Melo would never do while he is on the court. Can't wait until that first game Houston comes to the Garden. Won't surprise me if Lin gets more cheers than Knicks.
