i didn't say they were as good as the bulls (with a healthy rose), i was saying they have similar typecast roles in the starting 5.

I'd actually say DWill is a pass first PG that can score. He has a career average of 17ppg & 10apg while Rose has a career average of 21ppg & 7apg.

And Boozer is 6'9" & Noah is 6'11".

And the Bulls wins by defense first while the Nets is looking like they'll try and just out score the team to win.

^great so Clip fans next year can expect blake to demand the ball on the wing... hold the ball for 5 seconds while looking down.... then chuck up a highly contested shot 15 times a game?

At least he's "expanding" his game. Would you prefer he be like Howard and pretty much improve on nothing?

Mav signs Kaman and now after Brand?
They'll have a loaded frontcourt, is Dirk going to play SF?
Mavs got Collison too. Not sure he's the answer to losing Kidd but they need to replace the void that Jason Terry left.

1992 Dream Team v. 2012 Olympics Team, who ya got?

Dream Team had size and everybody in their prime other than Magic, Bird, and Laettner. Sorry Kobe, but Chuck's right: Dream Team by double digits.

I was reading that and MJs response to it. I'd easily take the OG Dream Team.

Those guys are just more competitive and just plain experienced (all went to college). If you saw the Dream Team documentary a month ago, they showed these guys trying to kill each other and talking trash in practice, that's how competitive they were. Plus with MJ on the team, no way he would even let these guys win against his team.

And MJ is just as athletic, if not more than anyone in todays Dream Team. Not only that but they have wingmen that can guard these small, fast guards of today. Pippen & Drexler will smother them, not to mention MJ will stick to them like white on rice. Barkley will bully todays guys too along with Malone. Then Ewing and Robinson who are taller than anyone on todays team. Plus the deadly shooters in Mullen, Bird and Stockton. I really don't even think todays team can cover Stockton & Malones two-man game.

Really no contest in my eyes.

The only advantage for 2012 team is probably at the SF position where they have Lebron/Durant. Other than that, Dream Team would easily dominate. Magic was a little past his prime but would be able to score in the post easily against the smaller guards. And the only true center in 2012 team is Chandler....and I'm sure Robinson and Ewing wouldn't have a problem doing their thing against Tyson.
