Dude obviously implying it was intentional, come on now. Plus that was a snippet I used as an example. He also said:

"Are you out here to play basketball or are you out here to be a tough guy?"

Afraid of a little contact? Just can't take it when dude does shit himself but when the tables are turned dude complains like he's never played ball before. This guy beat the Mavs in the Finals by driving in the lane and getting those fouls and once he gets hit a bit harder he complains.

Come to LA Sloan, PLEASE!!!! There is no hope for the Bobcats!
Quote:
Jerry Sloan is ready to return to the NBA and has expressed interest in the open Charlotte Bobcats and Orlando Magic coaching positions.

The former Utah Jazz coach, who resigned during the 2011 season after 23 seasons with the team, told the Salt Lake Tribune on Tuesday that he has talked to Bobcats owner Michael Jordan about his team's vacancy.

Sloan will interview with Charlotte later this week, league sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

The Bobcats also have permission from the Indiana Pacers to speak with assistant Brian Shaw and from the Los Angeles Lakers to speak with assistant coach Quin Snyder, the sources said. Shaw's interview will take place after the Pacers' season ends.

The sources said Charlotte also will reach out to former Magic coach Stan Van Gundy. The team is not expected to make a hiring decision until after next week's draft lottery, at the earliest.

Earlier Tuesday, Sloan expressed interest in the Magic opening in an interview with Fox Sports Florida, calling the job "intriguing" despite the uncertainty surrounding star center Dwight Howard and the Magic's vacant general manager position after the outster of Otis Smith.

Sloan said he wasn't deterred by the lowly status of the Bobcats, who won an NBA-worst seven games last season.

"Obviously, you probably wouldn't win (a title) right off the bat," Sloan told the Tribune. "But sometimes it's not all about starting on top."

If he were to be hired in Charlotte, Sloan would be working for the man who helped to deny him his two best shots at an NBA title. Sloan led the Jazz to the NBA Finals twice (1997 and 1998), only to lose to Jordan's Chicago Bulls.

The 70-year-old Sloan told the newspaper that he feels "terrific" and said he'll "stay out of the way" while teams determine if he's a possible fit.

"If there's some interest in me, fine. If there's not, I understand that, too," Sloan told the Tribune.

well I think it was intentional, or at least excessive and out of control. you disagree. we both saw it on TV, who knows what it looked like in person and real time. getting hit pissed him off, and he made a comment when asked, and you don't want to cut him any slack because you hate the Heat.

you are also taking the tough guy quote way out of context. that was what he told Granger for his continued posturing and getting in people's face and attempting to escalate everything into a confrontation or fight. had nothing to do with Hansbrough.

the only thing I regret about all these fracases is that it will be tough in game 6 without Bosh or Haslem if he gets suspended. oh, and Pittman's foul was a complete embarrassment

And dude winked on the camera after the foul. Dude gave away that he did it on purpose, if I were Stern, I'd suspend dude the rest of the playoffs. At least Haslem and Tyler can make the defense that wasn't intentional but Pittman is just as immature as Bynum, maybe more since they were actually winning the game/series.

can we get back to talking about the lakers?
yeah, suspend him into next year for all I care. the other dude was disrespectful, but just trash talking. Stephenson wasn't out there trying to hurt your guys. big guy elbowing little guy unaware and going full speed in the throat/neck area. he coulda killed him, seriously. what a disgrace

aha, it comes out. Haslem one game, Pittman 3.

and lmao at Chandler being DPOY but not first team all defense

it looks more like Mr. T than James Harden.... but still pretty awesome.

I just want this sixers celtics series to end. the jumpshooting youth team vs. defensive lockdown senior team is producing some low assed scores and lame games.

debated about where to put this. almost went MC but then I thought: Would Vox know who Craig Sager is? So, just leaving this here, what a terrific piece of writing. Sample:

I don't know how a confetti cannon works. But Sager often looks like what you'd load into one. He's pre-detonated scraps of colored paper.

I find that bad writers (most writers) tend to string together a list of synonyms when they describe things. It's refreshing to read pieces that are written without cliches or wasted words.
