Laker got a fucked up schedule too M, W, F, S.

David Stern doesn't love the Lakers.

The issue for both the Lakers and Clippers is that the LA Kings are also in the playoffs and all three play at the Staples center. They have 6 events occurring at the staple center in a span of 76 hours.... That's insane for any venue!! The Staples center crew is going to be racking up some major OT.

Neither does anyone else.

I thought Clips played REALLY well. Heart in mouth all game. Big diff IMO is defense played on Tony Parker.

^the spurs have some of the more pretty half court offensive sets. its like 80's nba basketball + euro/international ball mix. so fluid - almost soccer like.

the clips don't look like they have a chance because the spurs are so savvy - i think the first play was deandre jordan with a huge follow up dunk, after he dunked it looked like he was so proud of himself (was a fortunate followup after being embarrassingly blocked by Duncan) and looked around for someone to high five while the spurs calmly pushed it up court to execute their offense.

imagine if Pop was coaching the clippers? the lob city leapers would be shamed into actually learning some/applying fundamentals - they'd be a 60+ win team easily.

Geez, did either team WANT to win the Heat Pacers game? BTW, George Hill, while athletic, seems a pretty shitty point guard to me. That offense is stale as hell when he runs the point. Good players otherwise. No Bosh... Indiana could really win this. How long is he out?

Funny how both LA teams are getting blown out. Neither team has a shot. Close it down.

Alright guys... top 5 favorite players to watch of all time.

Mine:

Hakeem Olajuwon
Magic Johnson
Kevin Garnett
Dikembe Motombo - owned other centers on D
Jason Williams - those late 90's Kings teams were the funnest teams ever in the NBA
Arvydas Sabonis - best passing big man ever

Ok, so my list is 6.

Honorables: Rondo, Webber, Nash, Kareem, Rose

my all time least favorite players to watch:

carmelo, dwight howard, antwoine walker (actually would probably different if i wasn't a celtics fan just for the lol8[1].giffacepalm.gif value), nick van exle (he pretty much ushered in the prevalence of "hero-ball", harold minor.

Carmelo and Howard are no doubt the worst players to watch in the league right now. I cant watch Blake Griffin, the guy is so overrated its beyond belief.

  • Allen Iverson -- in prime, insanely entertaining
  • Kobe Bryant -- what a competitor, fantastic athlete
  • Kevin Garnett -- I admire his aggressive demeanor
  • Steve Nash -- when he was orchestrating those run & gun Suns teams of the mid 2000s I couldn't get enough
  • Kevin Durant -- there are at least two "wow" plays per game

blake griffin isn't actually overrated he's just can be irritating (if you're not a fan) to watch because of his prolonged stare downs of refs after normal NBA plays, crappy free throw shooting despite having great FT shooting form, and his comical low post up game at times.

just like carmelo is irritating when he gets the ball on the block, stares down for 2 seconds, brings the ball up back over his head for another 2 seconds, then finally decides what 105% of the people on earth already knew what he's about to do: an isolation play.

I like the idea of doing a counter to the "favorites" list, in the sense of "least favorite to watch":

  • Derrick Coleman -- a bit out there, I know, but what a bad attitude
  • Chris Paul -- the flopping would be better on Broadway
  • Zach Randolph -- I like his size, but the whole black hole thing is bad
  • Carmelo Anthony -- isolation is so boring
  • That's all I have!
