i dunno. i would think a close up is a better view than a side view from the audience. at first i didnt understand what was such a big deal besides harden falling down, but damn. elbow to the chin was mad vicious. it seemed like it was knee jerk reaction tho in response to the physicality of the game and the adrenaline rush from a good play that lead to a dunk, but still no excuse for that kinda shit

also spurs take number 1 seed

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

i'm happy for stevie.
the problem with slo-mo is that it seems to add a sense of consciousness to it that isn't necessarily there (particularly in ron's case). you watch him wind up and whip around, it seems like it must have been intentional. run at full-speed, you see that it all happened in the blink of an eye.

MWP is such an idiot. He reminds me of kids I played with in High School.
He will and should get 5-7 games and a big fine. It sucks, becaue he was having a decent season.

Jordan's Bobcats could break records. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Worst Winning Percentage Ever

It's always interesting when a team reaches a new, uncharted level of awfulness. And in the NBA this year, that team is the forlorn Charlotte Bobcats.

Monday night, in a desultory 28-point loss to the Washington Wizards, the 7-57 Bobbies inched closer to an epic level of futility.

If they lose their final two games -- at Orlando Wednesday, home the next night against the Knicks -- they'll end up with the worst winning percentage in league history.

(In case you're wondering, the atrocious 1972-1973 Philadelphia 76ers finished 9-73 with a .110 winning percentage.)

This is how bad things are for the Bobbies: they make the 18-46 Wizards look like the Showtime Lakers of Magic and Kareem. And the Wizards -- I know this will shock you -- have the second-worst record in the NBA, even though they've won four straight.

"We don't want to be the worst team in NBA history," Charlotte's D.J. Augustin told reporters after the loss to the Wizards. "We know that in the back of our minds going into the next two games."

So the pressure's on -- sort of. Especially seeing as how the Bobbies haven't put up a W since March 17.

"I can't sleep at night, wondering what we can do to change this thing around," Bobbies' coach Paul Silas told the Associated Press.

Think draft lottery, coach. That's about the best you can hope for right now.

it's amazing how bad mj is at everything outside of playing ball.

marriage, humility, baseball, ownership, sneakers after jordan V. sucks at all of them.

But Jordan is a hell of a gambler/poker player.

so MWP gets 7 games including playoffs. i guess that means we won't see him till next season tongue.gif

this last week of the season is going to suck. turned on Sun Sports tonight and was excited to see Heat-Celtics on the schedule. well, now i'm watching Pittman, Battier and Mike Miller start against Pavlovic, Bass and Avery Bradley

has anyone done more to ruin a season for a team and a city than Dwight Howard? not since Derrick Coleman was in the league i don't think. Len Bias doesn't count because it wasn't his fault he died (well, sort of)
