agree 110 percent. you can't play D'Antoni style with a Pat Riley lineup.
And the Knicks don't have any true outside threats to kick the ball out to from double-teams(on Amare or Melo). But now the Knicks have 3 highly paid players and nothing around them...
3 players so highly paid they can't afford to add anything around them. an interesting rumor's making the rounds: Stoudemire and Chandler for big Dwight. Knucks will still suck, and probably still have D'Antoni, but at least they'd get some cap room if they do it right.
.well I guess some Knick fans are claiming to just wait until their savior Baron Davis returns....ha.
most of us are just sinking into quiet despair, trust.
I just don't get how the Knicks has less chemistry this year than last year after all the trade was done. Did Billups really that much of a difference? IIRC, Billups was hurt about half of the time he wore Knicks uni last year. They look good on paper (Melo, Amare, Chandler, Shumpert, Fields, Walker, Bibby, Douglas, Jeffries, etc..) but it seems like D'Antoni's system just needs a very good PG for his plays to work. W/o Nash, his system ain't shit. It's a run and gun team and taking advantage of transitions but horrible defense and inexperienced (Shumpert) or shooting (Douglas) PG just isn't working. Davis, is he can be healthy, should be able to help, I guess. And yeah, Melo needs to stop shooting all the damn time. I didn't think he could take worst shots than Kobe but he has proven me wrong.
Oh man this had me cracking up
It would have been awesome if he got up and cherry picked a pass when the ball was on the other end for an easy two hahaa.
NEW YORK (AP)—The Los Angeles Lakers have surpassed the New York Knicks as the NBA’s most valuable team, according to Forbes’ annual report.
The magazine (www.forbes.com/nba) said Wednesday that the Lakers’ value had increased 40 percent since last year to $900 million thanks to its blockbuster Time Warner TV deal. The Knicks’ value increased 19 percent to $780 million with a boost from the renovation of Madison Square Garden. The Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics round out the top five.
Despite a shortened season, the average team is worth $393 million, up 6.5 percent from last year, aided by the new collective bargaining agreement.
The Milwaukee Bucks are the least valuable team at $268 million.
Well, at least the other passes the ball.
Trade DWill & Morrow for Anthony & Douglas and the Knicks will be a much, much better team.
And I honestly have no idea why Minny didn't want to sign Love to max 5 years. How fucking retarded are they?
super fucking retarded
how can the knicks be worth so much and still be such a shitty team. they havent done jack shit since ewing and ewing still never got a ring
