Shannon Breezy!!!
Looks like he's been eating too well in the off-season. Didn't know this dude was this short either.

two more clippers related comments from me:

thank god for the rest of the league that Dell Demps absolutely insisted on getting Eric Gordon back in the Paul trade. how deadly would this team be with Gordon at 2? I wouldn't complain if that hypothetical team was ranked preseason West #1...kudos also to Demps for making the best out of a complete shit situation where his boss not just left him high and dry, but also cut his nuts off at every turn. if I were him David Stern better not drink the coffee at Hornets HQ

second, how crazy has the hype grown for the Clips? I'm kind of happy as a Heat fan because now the whole shit show can hopefully change zip codes somewhat

Nah, shit will always follow Lebron because it's usually in his mouth.

But the bandwagon Clippers fans is already killing me. No more $50 5-rows-from-courtside tickets anymore. frown.gif

peepwall[1].gif bandwagon clippers fan

i dont think there's anything wrong with following a talented team with great expectations

has expectations ever been this high for the clippers?

bet my friend $300 the lakers would end up with a better record. clips look good but i still think they'll turn into the clippers.
i thought the lakers looked a lot better last night than monday (couldn't hardly look worse). they moved with some conviction and acted like they knew where they were supposed to be, for the most part. i think fish got tired and was trying to force too much in the third, which led to all those turnovers and the clipper lead. but i thought he defended paul well. and the 4s and 5s are really popping out on pick and rolls to help out. bynum was a beast, even not playing as well as i htink he could. if he stays healthy -- which, of course, is the crux of hte situation -- he could have a dominating year.

Fish should be in the Museum of Natural History right next to Tim Duncan.

No. I don't think there is any professional sport team (atleast MLB, NBA, NFL) that has been as historically bad as the clippers.

A little hyperbole, don't you think? The Cubs haven't won a World Series in 103 years. Certainly, Elgin Baylor managed to mis-evaluate talent, as well as coaching prospects, for many years, but there are other teams that have been lousy for much longer periods of time.

no, I agree with him. organizations like the Cubs at least have made multiple deep runs into the playoffs, and have had some competent management over the years. the Clippers have not only been so bad, but they've made so many obviously retarded decisions over the years that they have been the laughingstock of the NBA (I'd go so far as to say of US pro sports) for as long as I've been a sports fan.

even at this point I'm giving 60/40 odds that in the next couple of years they will completely fuck this up
