it was scary watching Dirk Play so much 5 spot [center] with 3 and then 4 fouls. I kept thinking Lebron was going to say "fuck it I'm going to try now" plow into the paint every possession then score 10 straight.

never happened, he was taken out of his comfort zone in all of the heat loses... credit to Carlisle, Mav's coach, to understand that you don't necessarily need to double/triple/help out on lebron - you just need to make the heat run their offense without him touching it first.

obvious statement obvious: lebron needs to work on his game, learn the low post, and how to work without the ball... or just fire spolestra and snag Brian Shaw and implement the triangle...

or dangle the position to phil jackson.

Jason Kidd especially. The guy is the definition of a team player, completely selfless, hustling non stop on both ends. I've been hard on him in the past and called him washed up but he played his ancient ass off in these playoffs.

Same, I thought he was done but he's got some old man fight in him. So who moves to top of the list of active older vets who are considered elite and never one a championship? Nash?

Yah, he needs to get over it.

Maybe one day down the line the next owner will be gracious enough to bring him back to raise the trophy in Cleveland.

God it was sweet listening to the end of the game on the radio while I was driving home. I could practically taste the despair of the radio announcers. Delishous, delishous tears. GO MAVS!
