OKC has weaknesses, but coaching and Westbrook aren't it. They need to add, not subtract. Westbrook is a great player, but what he isn't is a competent point guard. OKC needs to add a point guard and move Westbrook to the 2 where he belongs.

Trading a star player and/or firing a coach that got you to the WCF would be a basis for firing the GM.

Lol, what r u watching? The okc offense is stagnant in crunch time. The plays Scott brooks draws up after time outs are awful, and he goes into the press conference and blames it all on his players. I really wouldn't be surprised if he's gone.

Do Rose & Thibodeau avoid the criticism Westbrook & Brooks get because they had the best record in the East? Thibs calls for two fail iso plays in a row against LeBron at the end of regulation? How about mixing in a decent play?

I love how hroi gets cockier after each win when he started off worried with the game one loss

Mike Brown to LA? How do you replace Phil Jackson with a puppet?

Oh, so I'm not allowed to react to the dozens of shit talking posts against the Heat? are Laker and Bulls fans the only people allowed to be cocky when things go well? Truth be told there hasn't been a quarter of this series that I haven't been worried...the Bulls are a great team and Rose, Thibodeau, Noah, et al have turned me into a fan. Except for Boozer, who's still a douche.

there was an interesting post on nba playbook that alluded to the opinion that durant wasn't necessarily following the play that was drawn up ... incidentally, great site for basketball wonks (of the non-statistical analysis variety).

There is a difference, Westbrook kept the ball away from their best player while Rose is the Bulls best player. It would be the same if Brooks let Durant handle the ball and he missed the shot or turned the ball over or if Phil lets Kobe do his thing in the final minute and misses all the shots, the ball is on the hands of their best player. Westbrook is good but I'd want the ball on Durant.

And I've said it before and I'll say it again, as good as the Bulls are, if Rose doesn't play spectacular, the team just rarely wins and that is why I had the Heat coming out of the East from the beginning of the playoffs.

I got the feeling that the physical ball-denial D from the Mavs altered that play just enough to make the end result awful. Durant catches the ball three feet past the line, dribbles, then jacks up a contested three? Makes no sense unless there was a breakdown somewhere.

foodguy making very sad face.
this just goes to demonstrate once again that the Buss family is a prime example of why there should be a 100% inheritance tax.

Oy vey. Do you think Kobe has anything to do with this? He'd essentially be running the team wouldn't he?

this is not a kobe thing at all. though i predict that if it happens, there will be a major contest of wills and we can predict who will win. i guess the real question is whether he'll last longer than jimmy buss' last brainstorm: tomjanovich.

ugh, Mike Brown better not be the next LA coach. It better not happen. Dude is a worst coach than Dunleavy. On the past playoff seasons, on crunch time huddles, you can see his assistants drawing up plays and he is outside of the huddles. WTF kind of a head coach is that? Dude is just hyped because of Lebron, dude is trash!!!!
#smh #seriously #notagoodlook Yeah that moment when his assistant was drawing up the play and he was outside, that just solidified it. He's a terrible coach and I have no idea how he's ahead of anyone for LA.
