^^^ Even those aren't confirmed. There are conflicting reports really, some say there is a problem, some say there isn't. But if that Pau quote is correct, then dude is just being a lil bitch. I mean seriously, they didn't break up but since she is suffering he is as well? They're sharing the pain? I'm not trying to be this macho douche but for fucks sake, dude needs to man up. Fucking Rondo, who I hate came back from a dislocated elbow within minutes and this dude Pau is worried his girl is in pain? Is Kobe gonna have to slap a bitch?

And as much as Buss loves Bynum, after his flagrant on Barea, even their love for him will turn sour quick. That was such a bad image for the franchise and I am pretty sure if they can get Howard for him, they'd pull that trigger with quickness.

I must be the only one who doesn't like Howard as a fit for the Lakers. He's an even bigger pussy than Bynum. I want Chris Paul god damn it!

Exactly, they could use that flagrant as a good reason/excuse to send him packing and bring in my boy D12 who will dominate.

How about we talk about teams that are still playing?

+1 Draw the veil and move on.

howard is what he is. no team will win it all with him as option 1, he has not grown as a player in the slightest

not entirely true. he progressed by leaps and bounds offensively this year.

Problem is, if we bring in Howard, it still doesn't address the glaring lack of 3 pt shooters on the roster (a Kyle Korver, Peja, etc.).

Lakers would turn into Orlando 2.0 (beast inside, no outside threat) + an aging Kobe.

Robert "Tractor" Traylor has died of an apparent heart attack. On draft day, he was traded by Dallas to Milwaukee for Dirk Nowitzki and Pat Garrity. Dallas then traded Garrity and other considerations to Phoenix for Steve Nash. Essentially, Dallas got two future HOFers for Traylor.

exactly. we don't need to replace the third or fourth-best big man in the nba with the best. we need spot-up shooters that can let open the floor so they can operate.

That is not true, the Magic are full of outside shooters: Arenas, JRich, QRich, Nelson, Hedo, Reddick and Anderson. Why do you think their theme is "live or die by the 3."

I agree the Lakers needs that spot-up 3-pt shooter but they did try to remedy that problem by getting Blake and Barnes. Now they are not the best but they can usually knock those spot-up 3's down with consistency, for some reason it didn't fall for them this year.

well the celtics are breathing their last breaths...for me it kind of feels like a beloved pet dog passing slowly... the kind that had some really bad injuries like surviving getting run over by a car/mauled by a mountain lion and still lived strong... but now is reaaaaallly on its last legs.

also its like how sometimes the best years in school aren't you're senior years but those sophomore or freshmen years where you did better than expected despite the expectations. this core won right off the bat then started having major injuries and still did pretty good.

it would be nice to see the Mavs win one. Dirk/kidd/peja is still of the old school players making their way for the new guys. plus they still embody the "best team wins" logic that still works in the NBA playoffs.

I don't think 3 point shooters are the answer, bynum is inconsistent at best plus we need a new pg desperately.

someone like steve nash/chris paul in a pick and role system would be perfect for the lakers. think about kobe/gasol/odom all working the pick and role with nash/paul. they'd be unstoppable, because if the guy that rolls still can jack up the jumpshot - so you can save money and just find a pure shooter to stay open on the wings/off picks as a 4th option. the other big guy crashes the boards. that would be unstoppable. you can rely on nash/paul to score 15 or even more if they get open looks after getting torched by gasol/odom/bryant off the pick and roll. obviously chris paul could work too. thats actually a nice little trade to do that works: bynum for steve nash/chris paul.

Maybe...all I know is that Lakers made jack from beyond the arc this year. It's almost 100% reason why they lost to Dallas. That and Pau rediscovering his vagina.

Just look at the years we won this decade...CLUTCH 3 pt shooting from role players...Glen Rice, B Shaw, Rick Fox, HOORRRRYYY, Fish, Ariza, even Artest last year.

We had none of that in 2011. The bench completely shat the bed...we need May All-Stars, not November/December All-Stars...I'm looking at you Shannon Brown.
