Durant, what a stud. Almost 58 minutes, just huge in the 3rd OT.

58 minutes? Westbrook, get the ball to Durant.

Awesome game. I Westbrook was ballin but damn there was like 9 minutes there where Durant didn't touch the ball. If the ball would have gotten to Durant, the game might have been done early. Credit to Westbrook but damn how can you not hate the guy when everytime he makes a shot dude grimaces and takes shit like he won the damn game already. Dude has way too much bullshit when he hasn't won shit. He needs to take a note from Durant, make the shot, pound your chest and then shut up since the game isn't over yet. Again, great game.

THIS. Never played pro, but I liked maybe 1/3, was indifferent to a 1/3, and outright disliked 1/3, of my teammates. Didn't hurt the on-court chemistry in the least. If anything, it improved it. I saw some close friendships negatively affect the distribution of the basketball.

Ryen Russillo had a good discussion about Kobe on yesterday's NBA Today podcast. said he was like that buddy who is never wrong, but you still love him and he has that nice beach house so you always want him around. Other good analysis of his play. HE's still one of the greats, would pick him for any team etc etc but dude's got some flaws.

I'm bummed that my post sweep depression is preventing me from watching basketball. Would have really liked to watch that Grizz/Thunder game last night.

i was so disgusted i bounced back immediately. was a great game. i found myself pulling for the grizz, but could easily live with the thunder win. perkins is still a punk.

That was a great game. It will be interesting to see if and how Westbrook matures. As Mike Fratello kept pointing out, he was holding the ball way too long on many of those plays late in the 4th and beyond, & there were several plays when he was pouting under the basket, not getting back on defense, after driving & not getting a foul.

he's physically gifted but doesn't seem like a very smart player.

This, kept checking the score last night and was like this is crazy. Still can't believe bynum and odom what a disgrace, team needs to be rebuilt with some fresh players.

Watching other games is kind of cathartic, esp. with no real pull for either team (other than ABM, of course). Watching Marc Gasol play better than his brother is a bit odd, though. I'd be fine with all of them on the block except for Kobe, Pau and maybe Lamar. I don't know if Bynum can get it together and Artest will be a head case for the new coach. The others are all definitely expendable, imo, though they'll keep Fish I guess and then maybe make him an assistant when he retires. Atlanta hanging very tough here.
