the crowd will be a huge factor tomorrow. not really for kobe/fisher but still enough to rattle the other guys especially the bench.
its weird because those dallas mavs crowds cheer like crazy but rarely are they vicious like texas college football crowds. hopefully they can break out the scary/violent cheering that texas has the potential to do.
I've gotta give Rondo tremendous credit. This was one of the ultimate tough guy performances. But despite what he says, is he really going to be back this series? That was a gruesome dislocation... And hopefully Paul pierce is just a little bit ashamed this morning...can someone splice together vid of Rondo's performance tonight and Pierce's wheelchair game against the Lakers?
59. "Be subtle with it, man. You know what subtle means?" 60. "Laid back and sh*t." To Mark Cuban and Phil Jackson, who spent the last decade sniping at one another and finally get to whip it out for a playoff series with rulers and everything. If you're scoring at home, I have "Cuban versus Jackson" ranked as the seventh most compelling Mavs-Lakers subplot behind "Dirk versus Kobe"; "Who are the Lakers' best five guys?" (somehow we're at Game 89 and they still haven't figured it out, which is NOT a good sign if you're a Lakers fan); "Are the Mavs deliberately defending Kobe with Kidd so Kobe's eyes will light up and he'll shoot 30 times a game?" (I say yes); "If Marc Gasol becomes more relevant than Pau, is that the biggest brotherly upset since the time when Charlie Murphy briefly became cooler than Eddie?"; "Did you ever think J.J. Barea would be an X factor of any professional basketball playoff series that wasn't being played in Eastern Europe?"; and "Will Lamar learn to clean up after himself on this week's 'Khloe and Lamar'?"
The bad part is that I can't watch SportsCenter for a week because there's no telling when they're going to splice in a clip of Rondo's elbow bending backwards. There was a reason I didn't become a doctor. That shit gives me the creeps.
They must've shown that replay half a dozen times in the 2nd half. ENOUGH ALREADY!
[quote=RFX45;4445261]So two games makes him soft? Dude has been beasting for 2 months and you judge him by two games? And not to mention that Bynum had 18/13 in game two and that is still soft? Get the fuck out of here. Again, people are just saying shit out of their mouth and the bandwagon Lakers haters comes out when they were losing? Shit, that is easy to talk shit now that they are losing.
Two PLAYOFF games. Sorry but you don't get a pass for being soft in two critical home games. Not to mention, talk shit on your own team. Buh bye bynum. You're the next Eddy Curry.
53 pts in the first half with 4 minutes to go? Coach Thibs would never have that. Not to mention Kobe is in ballhog mode right now. Sorry but you ain't 2006 Kobe. Lakers fans on suicide watch.
