NBA 2016-2017 Season Thread - Page 1801

Shiiit. I forgot about bucks

Bucks, Jazz, Wolves, Blazers, Pistons

All five are going to be so much fun.

I do want to see if this Simmons kid pans out but they don't have real shooters or a point guard yet so a long ways from being decently watchable. Makes you wonder how many more first round picks they're going to get. At least three more years of this

Just stumbled onto "The Undefeated", which is some sort of sports reporting website.
Holy fuck the writing and editing are bad. I realize that the intertubez have an insatiable appetite for clickbait about sports, celebrity gossip, and cat videos, but it still amazes me how many people who write like below-average third graders are "professional" writers.
I read four or five paragraphs of some puff piece on Steve Kerr's take on Kaepernick and such, and now my eyes and brain hurt.

I actually thought it was a space for black people to write their takes on things - sports, and living in America primarily. Affiliated with ESPN, so if you read the worldwide leader, you can't avoid reading at least their headlines

All that's totally fine, but nothing I have a huge interest in. So I've never given it a chance

Never thought I would say this but I actually sorta miss Grantland.

Missed Grantland day 1. The Ringer has actually started to improve, though it still has a way to go. Thinking about grantland got me to go there and see what's changed - not ready to be a reader yet but credit where it's due.

I'll pass on that undefeated site. Though I'm not the target audience, mysubgroupmatters.com sites are about as interesting as all those motivated mommy blogs and health magazines who somehow invent 20 new ways to burn that fat every month.

Grantland was uneven, but they had some talented writers and there were definitely some things worth reading.

Agree. And you know who the good ones were so you could just ignore all the others

Not to be mean but kinda seems like Bill was stuck with the rejects (I.E. Juliet, the annoying producer Tate)...I don't know. Haven't really checked out the Ringer website itself,, just listen to his main podcast.

Great career, solid representative for the sport and a guy that you never heard anything negative about off court.

LOl didn't Melo wait for him at the team bus after that game or something
post #27014 of 27204
He sure did. I still don't even know what that insult is even supposed to mean but it's just funny hearing it.

It was a funny sight at the bus. Rondo was walking around with his hands in his pockets waiting for the fight to go down, the clown.
