Some of my thoughts....

The most interesting and probably most anticipated series in the whole playoffs outside of a Miami vs. LA meeting in the finals is the Miami vs. Boston series and it starts on Sunday. I hate both teams but I do hate Boston more because they have more douche bags but then again Lebrons ego is probably bigger than all of Boston combined. Either way, it'll be interesting and I'll go out on a limb and pick Miami just because the Celtics doesn't have a big to protect the rim from Wade and Lebrons penetrations. I can see this being a 7-game series, I can't wait.

Atlanta will probably eliminate the Magic tonight unless the Magic breaks an all-time playoff record in 3s made and further pushes Howard out of Orland in the very near future. Chicago vs. Atlanta will be an ok series, I have a feeling there will be a couple of blowouts in this series in a way of Hawks loses. Chicago will take that in 5-6 games since Chicago struggles in the first 3 quarters and pushes in the 4th and Atlanta sucks in the 4th, it should be an easy trip to the Eastern Conf Finals.

Memphis should finish San Antonio tomorrow and hopefully pulls another upset and beat OKC. IIRC, Memphis beat the Lakers 3-1 in th regular season but I still want the Lakers to face them than OKC. Durant is just a beast, no one should be that good. He singlehandedly eliminated the Nuggets last night on both offensive and defensive end. Westbrook is getting too good too with Ibaka spiking the ball like midget were the ones doing lay-ups.

The Mavs and Blazers series is probably the most unsual, one is a very soft team versus an injury plagued team. BRoy was reborn on Sunday but can he do it again in Portland tonight? It's always difficult to win in the Rose Garden, as long as they stop settling for jumpers, the Blazers should be able to take this to game 7 back to Dallas where Dallas will likely prevail. Which is good because I want the Lakers to face the Mavs instead of Portland.

But before the Lakers worry about those teams, they better take care of business tonight. They are more unpredicatable this year because you don't know which Lakers will show up. Is it the tall and aggressive w/ suffocating defense 2-time champs, or the lazy and sloppy Luke Walton influenced team we have been watching for the last month or so? It's up in the air every night. I think they'll take care of the Hornets tonight, CP3 still has barely any help so contain him to a 25pts-13ast and they can win the game and yah those stats are considered bad for CP3 in this series.

I bought one of these blue classic Lakers Kobe Jerseys (when he was still wearing adidas and #8) because it was on sale for like $20. I had it signed by him after a LA vs. Golden state game in 1999 and then gave it to my best college friend (who's a huuuuuge laker fan) as a birthday present. I think he actually shed a tear seeing it was signed to him personally.

That's a really thoughtful gift! WTB signed steph curry jersey. Hope he stays a Warrior for a long time.

Orlando donzo. SVG will be let go. And Dwight will want to pursue greener pastures.

speaking of "greener"... on a recent bill simmons podcast it was brought up that the celtics will have the least money committed to of all teams in 2012 and are prime candidates for the D. Howard Sweepstakes. The lakers supposedly have to trade someone (probably bynum) to free up money to acquire D. Howard.

but a rondo howard combo kinda sucks for free throws and crunch time play, paul pierce will be wicked old by then...

Glad to see pau back from the dead.

Howard will never be a Celtic. He wants to be a Laker, and people tend to go to the other conference after free agency (The Decision notwithstanding) Edit: Also if SVG leaves the Magic I bet he's the new Rockets head coach.

are you Ok will a bynum for howard trade? because there needs to be a big trade for howard to the Lakers under the current salary cap rules... it will be even harder probably after the new CBA and possible hard salary cap.

absolutely. i've said it before..howard and bynum are the only two true centers that are elite on both ends of the floor. the only difference is howard plays 80-82 games a season, and bynum plays ~55. i'd happily trade one for the other, but d12 is about the only person i'd give up bynum for.

(while on the subject..i'd like to point out that marc > pau so far in these playoffs. that trade for pau worked out pretty well for memphis all things considered)
