Knicks will sign Brandon Jennings, good back-up and likely only a matter of time to be starter?

Pau suits the 2017 Spurs, Durant the 2013/2014 version. Even as a Spurs fan I have to admit I've liked the 2013/2014 version better.

turns out ownership matters. who owns the lakers again? oh yeah, the warriors!

i mean all I'm saying is that the warriors have the most committed, best ownership/front office in the nba. and the lakers have jim and jeanie buss. think that's gonna change anytime soon?

have fun in clipper nation.

Don't know about that, the Spurs still exist in the NBA.

Wasn't really until Jerry West came to the office til they started making good decisions.

Wait, correct me if I'm wrong, but GSW still hasn't cleared enough cap space to sign KD? They have to unload some players first. What's to stop every other team in the league from refusing to deal with them? Then Golden State would be forced to waive some of their players to get it done? They have next to no leverage in these salary dump trades. The GM's of the other 29 teams should be looking to fleece the Warriors.

Yes, if the other 29 teams could act like a cartel. But Danny Ainge could swoop in and probably get a few picks so I find it unlikely that it could happen. The Celtics Amir Johnson I believe has a 12M unguaranteed salary which would match Bogut's salary.

Dallas already made a deal to take Boguts $11m off their hands so...

I think almost everything else is just a matter of letting them go.

I know the cap increases even more next year and probably a year after that but are the Dubs going to have enough to pay both Durant and Curry? I think Curry is expected to make $170m+ for 5 and Durant even more?

I find it ironic that Cuban is willing to facilitate the Durant signing by helping GSW dump salaries when he was one of the biggest detractors of the Chris Paul-Lakers trade.

Because collusion is very, very difficult with this many parties involved. If I really want Bogut and can get him for cheap, why run the risk of losing him just to stick it to Golden State?
