Man, I'd like to see that Dubs go hard for Horford.

No Shit. Right now Klay and Curry are both criminally under paid.

This would've been an amazing team in 2011

That deal is never going to look cheap under any salary cap.

Wow, chronic underperformer Kent Bazemore gets 70m for 4 years. Atlanta is lost in space.

Bwahaha Turner, Fournier, Clarkson, Mozgov, Lin and Hill all make more than Steph Curry now lol8[1].gif

The craziness goes on. Knicks, Lakers, and Hawks decided to behave like it is year 2011

ah man, Luol was a useful player. he totally shit the bed in the Toronto series but he had a good season. sad to see him go.

I'm happy to see nba players get paid, but I think mlb players get paid in a better scale (stars get huge non yearly capped contracts) scrubs and rookies get exponentially smaller.

with salary cap + guaranteed 51% share of revenue its the middle class and even lower class players getting huge salary bumps (just like before). Lebron and durant would probably get like $60-90 year and scrubs like deon waiters should be getting $5-10 million year.

Knicks are reminding me of the 2011-12 Knicks with Tyson Chandler, Mike Bibby, Baron Davis, Carmelo, and Amare.

Luol is a solid player and he is getting paid well, so good decision to join Lakers by him. I just do not understand what Lakers trying to do this season. If they want to get the play-off spot, then the guys they are signing are probably not good enough to guarantee that outcome. If they want to rebuild, it seems rather slow and inefficient way to do it, as they should go for younger guys instead.

yeah, Ingram should be getting 30+ minutes a game unless they plan to play small by putting him at 4 and Randall at 5 and Deng at 3? The coach is Walton but then is it going to be worth it paying Mozgov that much to get little burn?

and lol8[1].gif @ Tom Brady being part of the Boston recruiting team for Durant

Also joining Brady in the Durant meeting: Matt Damon, Bill Russell, Diane Chambers, and Bill Buckner to talk missed opportunities.

What is it with Harrison Barnes? Dallas is offering him max money. I've only witnessed a small sample size of his games, which is mostly a few hype games super early on, and then these disappointing finals vs. the Cavs. When I took at his stats, they seem average for a 24-year old starting NBA player, and his PER (12) does not stand out. Is there something I'm missing, potential still on the radar, a defensive specialist?

it's a dual pronged attack on the Warriors - force the Warriors to pay the max (also create strife in the locker room with Barnes being paid at least double the salary of klay, curry, draymond). also if ever dubs call the bluff they get a new player and force the dubs to find expensive replacement regardless.

Horford to the Celtics. Still don't think they can beat the Cavaliers without a true go-to scorer like Durant though.
