and who the fuck is Jaylen Brown?
this is the best year to not have a draft pick

Marquese Chriss to Sacramento. What kind of bizarre name is that? With a name that awful, you would think he'd catch a break in the draft.

Vibe in Philadelphia is finally extremely positive. It's a shame Hinkie won't be able to bask in any glory should this work out over the next couple of years. A lot is predicated on Embiid's health, but Ben Simmons, Okafor, and next year's Kings pick should be a solid core. Noel is B+ if one focuses on defense. There are probably a million other picks I'm forgetting. Saric I don't see coming this year, because he'll wait for more money.

Orlando will send Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova and rights to Sabonis to the Thunder for Ibaka

This is a lie. Unless the Thunder are looking to establish a flock of albatrosses in the region...

If it's true, then Oladipo is a decent pickup so they can drop that shit player Dion Waiters.

so the Thunder are still chasing the answer at SG lol8[1].gif

sorry, i know the Harden trade references got old two years ago, but i still can't help myself. so they get Dipo for the player they could have let walk to keep Harden.

and Sabonis....i got excited when i read the last name and YESSSS!!! son of Arvydas!

Good trade for the thunder with the emergence of Adams
post #26499 of 27247

I love me some Sabonis. I'm now a Thunder fan for that reason alone.

Seems like a really solid trade for the Thunder.

Overall pretty happy with our draft. I don't know much about the players, but on paper they seem like good picks.

With the 3rd pick the Boston Celtics choose Jaylen Brown....

I'm so conpiuzed.

Jaylen Brown looks like Manny Pacquiao? If you told me yes, I'd believe you. Never seen the guy (Brown, not Manny) or remember hearing about him.

I see that he's from Cal, which may explain it. But still

the weird part is the celtics should've just traded every single first round pick and an asset(s) for an allstar player because next year they could be in the same position to get a possible top 3 pick (because of a pick swap - Nets trade from 2013 is the gift that keeps on giving!).

its kind of obvious what will happen though... Kevin Love will probably be traded to the celtics with that Jaylen Brown pick. I would've wanted Ibaka more than K love though. I don't mind K Love, but would rather you just start offering Jaylen and the whole boat for legit all star because either way the Nets are going to suck next year so that top 5 pick is there next year again.

its kind of funny because the Celtics are like Philadelphia in that they might be getting top 10 picks for the next two years (because of that Nets trade and possibly with the Mavericks swap if the Mavs decide to bottom out). Conversely they are the opposite of Philadelphia because they're making the playoffs and doing great things while getting those lottery picks.

He might be good...just because I have no idea who he is doesn't mean he isn't worth drafting. I just find it funny that this draft is mostly a bunch of no-names.
