Security guards all told to wear cups probably

it'd be amazing if he pulled a Bobby Valentine and threw on the Humpty Hump nose and glasses.

Shock G is from The Town, no? he could probably hook him up!

Ethan and I opined in the MLB thread that sometimes a guy needs to be punched in the face, but a "moral obligation" to nut-shot somebody is a whole other level.

As mentioned earlier, the Lue stepover.

For being such a disrespectful act, I didn't see Lue try to hit AI in the nuts

Would have to concur. And AI did it with panache. For my money the dunk + balls in your face in much worse than a step over.

Lebron's was low on style points...

I agree with you on Lebron's step over. It was half-assed, awkward., and clumsily executed. AI's looked like he knew what he was doing with the right amount of fuck you and disdain towards his opponent. It was so good that it''s become his signature NBA Finals play.

Lebrons was a punk move done out of spite.

What make's iverson's so great is that they went on to win the championship (10).

But if I had a team that's already championship caliber, I'm not sure I'd want him. Too much of a loose cannon, too willing to put his hot-headed ego ahead of true team-first play. There are tons of guys out there that can fill his actual basketball role just as well or better - tall, lanky, reasonably quick (although aging) forward who's decent at trapping and help not a great post or on ball defender, is at best an average rebounder for his size, can't get his own shot, is something of a streaky shooter but is fond of 3-pointers with a 3-point shooting percentage in the low 30's. He'll give you some great hustle/energy plays but will make enough bonehead plays to make it close to a wash.

I loved Barnes at UCLA once he got his act together and was a fan of him (more for energy and not being boring) for a while as a pro, but his act is a bit tired and, as noted, I just don't think he has much to add that GS couldn't easily get elsewhere with less downside risk.

Matt Barnes would be perfect as a back up for Day Day and Harrison Barnes. Playmaking long lanky 3 and D. Brings that energy. Enough veterans that he can't be too boneheaded.

Is what I was thinking. On the clips he was wide open a lot and his 3pg was above average. On the Grizzlies he wasn't as open. He just needs to make open threes and bang with power forwards sometimes and chase dudes around the perimeter.

But mostly it would be awesome if ended his career with the team he basically got his start with. Brush is back too.

I hope we win today but also don't want the season to end today.

that killer instinct... some guys just know when to deliver that emotional/psychological death blow

Barnes would be trash on the Dubs. Too old, too full of shit.

Gobert on the other hand would be so, so sweet.

Bogut is cool and all but dude is breaking apart before our eyes. Maybe the Dubs should go for Whiteside in the off season. Fuck Durant.

Oh, and fuck LeBron and the league that coddles him. If they're going back and dishing out flagrant 1's, then he fully deserves one for the hip throw followed by step on/over.

Gobert? LOL. If you're advocating that every team needs its very own albatross I get it.
