NBA 2016-2017 Season Thread - Page 1742

they're gonna have to win out despite the officiating/Cavs energy/hostile crowd.

let's just say that some people prolly don't want to see a 3-0 Finals

Cavs have a pulse after all. Kill time all day sports networks are going to get to fill some time with the Love, better w or w/o conversation.

Edit: Curry has 2 points, wtf. Iman Shumpert may be the worst most athletically gifted player I've ever watched in the NBA.

uggh. that sucked.

cavs defense was stifling tho. the one moment i clearly remember is dubs did that double screen for curry that they always run and lebron knew exactly when and to who curry was going to pass to and got a steal off that

entry passes were hard to make. off ball and weakside screens were switched and defended so well. cavs had this kind of desperation on every possession

going forward i feel like they should stagger kyrie and love's minutes whenever love gets back. that was killing them the first two games. dubs basically just ran pick and rolls through them. this win tho i feel like might be a blow to love's confidence

Onto Friday. I was going to drive to Cleveland for game 4 if we won game 3... oh well.

Can't say I did.

He wasn't hand picked by LeBron, though. Shumpert's a professional pogo stick with stupid hair. How can he ever have been considered a defensive stopper? On offense, he's an abhorrent shooter that blows layups, breakaways even. $10m a year for this mistake machine, how can it have happened? It's Roy Hibbert stupid.

God The Ringer's graphic design (or whatever you call it) is terrible. I get that they're going for a certain throwback vibe, but it still looks like something you'd connect to with EarthLink or something and makes me want to immediately close the tab to protect my eyes rather than browse through their randomly scattered pieces to look for something worth reading.

Huh. I dig it.

I liked Grantlands old school journalism vibe, but this neon-LSD Ringer theme is weird.

Anyone have predictions for tonight?

It'll be similar to game 6 against OKC. Dubs will play from behind. They'll have the lead for a moment in the second, then go down in the 3rd by 8-12. Then it goes to OT!

Not that's a real prediction.

I predict we get an equal number of closeups where Curry gnaws that disgusting mouthpiece and Lebron makes a bitchface.
