simmons was so damn wrong... he thought OKC was going to win and creamed his pants about how good KD and WB were and their huge home court advantage.

(I meant about the Durant to Boston thing)

Its strange to call a two time all star underrated but I think Klay is one of the more under appreciated players in the association.
Everyone thinks of him as a jump shooter but he is one of the few true two way players in the league and he has an excellent all 'round offensive game.

it all depends on the outcome of game 7.

if he loses:

OKC has some good moves they can make depending on the market for Ibaka, but almost a decade and OKC still might be pinched behind spurs and OKC for the next 5 years.

at this point he's an unrestricted free agent and a move to the east (contender) has to be a option to at least think about. that iso ball 4th quarter offense just doesn't really cut it.

lets say brad stevens or rick carlise is coaching this thunder team? they'd be so much better/smarter/efficient on offense, do all the smart things, avoid stupid mistakes, and have a game plan going into the 4th.

With 3 or even 4 almost 7 footers on the court, there is no excuse for this. Pound that fucking ball inside.

And Donovan made a critical error. Both Durant and Westbrook were completely gassed the last 3 minutes. It coincides with all the late easy baskets the Warriors got. Durant, with about a minute+ left actually waved off a pass from Westbrook.

As a coach you need to do whatever, start the hack-a, dreaded timeout, slow the pace, something to let those guys get their wind back. Durant was absolutely dying late in that game. Terrible awareness.

Get your point but he kinda is a jump shooter.

Is Curry injured? Because if the Warriors do win Monday, they're going to be in for trouble against the Cavs.

Why do you say that? Obviously if the Dubs make it to the finals it will be a hard fought series but I'm not sure that the Cavs are any better than the Thunder.
I mean, everybody looks good playing the Raptors.

I think the Cavs are better than OKC.

I mean the Raps actually gave them the most problems but they pretty much demolished the Hawks.

I know the East is a weaker conference overall but Cavs got better talent than OKC and they have longer rest time than the Dubs.

Plus Lebron pretty much won two games against the Dubs last year by himself, this time Love and Irving are healthy and playing well. JR Smith is shooting lights out from beyond the arc and Thompson will likely have a field day on the offensive rebounds. Frye was a great addition, Shumpert still has solid defense and Dellavedova is still there to annoy people.

Either matchup will be entertaining, but I want to see OKC vs Cleveland. Russ vs the Cavs will be like Tasmanian Devil vs the Monstars all over again

I root for the Dubs though. I love historic feats.

Game 6 summarized:

Warriors win Game 7. KD comes home and joins the Wizards.
Does KD's chance of winning a championship increase if he moves elsewhere? I don't think so tbh
post #25935 of 27240
Bingo. Definitely not if he moves to the wizards, as much respect as I have for John Wall.

Now, if he goes to the Heat.... devil.gif
