Anybody have a contact number for Smush?

So basically to beat the warriors closer lineup have five guys who are longer, faster, and play with defensive intensity on each possession. Also somehow get Andre Roberson to steal Draymond's powers. Donovan made a great adjustment on offense by playing four out with Roberson setting screens for the short roll and passing to open shooters which is basically what Draymond does. He's also been nailing his open threes which he normally doesn't. I feel like Dubs exploited Kanter until he had to be taken out but haven't really looked at stats.

I'm not counting out the Warriors to somehow put it together to win tonight but that would just be delaying the inevitable. Thunder are playing phenomenal basketball as are the Cavs and should be a great NBA finals. We are getting outplayed at just about every position on the court and even if Steph and Dray were 100% I don't know if it would have changed the outcome. Doesn't feel like the same team that we saw in the regular season in so many different respects. Perhaps the 30-40 point blowouts become single digit wins for OKC. Everyone's always wondered how good OKC could be if they put it all together and now we know the answer.

The ending of this season is definitely disappointing but I don't think it renders 73 wins meaningless. It just reinforces that the season begins anew in the playoffs and that "statement" games during the regular season are meaningless.

The silver lining as a Warriors fan is that Durant won't be leaving OKC for SAS which would have been bad for basketball.

they should just leave steph on westbrook. there's been a few times westbrook got by, but steph mostly plays solid defense. i think the coaches told steph to not hound him and instead focus on preventing the drive by. steph fights through screens pretty well except for a few times. but can't expect 100% defense on westbrook. steph's iso defense on westbrook is pretty sweet. i think they purposefully let westbrook a few time to the middle so the bigs can contain.

also just realized nobody tags andre roberson's short roll, which seems odd to me

I'd only go as far as Steph on him in spurts. I remember Steve Nash describing what it was like to guard Westbrook, and its not a pretty picture. The expense of energy dealing with Russ is too high to commit your top scorer, especially with bigger bodies available.

Edit, forgot my last sentence: GS has many other problems to address beyond this. They need a lineup with some length that can hang.

Steph is a better defender on Russ than Russ would be on himself. Just because he's not Klay doesn't mean he's a bad defender.
Steph is not the defensive issue.

It's a team-wide problem. It's also impossible to defend against Durant if you're not Kawhi Leonard having a good day.

In general, I agree. Durant's length is an incredible challenge.

I never said SC was a 'bad defender', he's definitely not. And where I agree the most is that Steph is not the defensive issue. Adams has fucked everyone up, a Magic era Shaq/Penny would be such an interesting series.

The real test for Adams would be if Lebron tries to go at him. Man, that would be interesting to see how far he's come.

Russ's defense has been fire this series. So locked in. Dude is mad smart too. Got several steals just by knowing which plays dubs were running. That scouting team did helluva job. OKC knows exactly what plays lead to what passes and they exploit the hell out of that

Let's go dubs. Let's getterdun

Adams with Kanter's post game would be sweet. Feel like Kanter has been giving him tips on offense. He has that nice hook shot and that up and under spin thingy the one or two times they give him the ball.

Kanter's defense has been much better too. Been decent at recognizing help assignments. Maybe they train each other.

I just hope day day shows up tonight
