i don't think so. there's a pattern to these games. they play somebody week, jump out in front early wtihout having to work too hard, and that sets the pattern for the rest of the night. the only guy who was getting it was Bynum. terrific game on the boards, even if he did get three shots blocked (how in the hell does that happen?).

so does that mean if we get rid of jet, the lakes can go back to playing 48 minutes instead of 5 at the start and 5 at the end? if you're looking for my vote, i've got a friend of a friend who can take care of that little problem.

Maybe LePunk should spend some of his bread closer to home instead of buying a few measly shares of Liverpool FC....

i doubt he owns anywhere near a significant share of LFC....same as Jay-Z..probably in the low single digit %. this is obviously a marketing ploy to expand LeBron's "brand".

Doesn't make much sense if you ask me...I doubt the scousers give a shit whether or not some basketball player owns part of their team.

Of course it is...hence the "measly"....

I'm just wondering which is higher: his % of shares, or his mom's blood-alcohol-%....

I kind of feel bad for those guys with fucked up moms. Lebron's mom is obviously a little "certified mental patient crazy". You could see from past interviews with her.

Guys like Glen Davis (who's mother is/was literally a crack whore), Dwane Wade (recovering crack addict mom who turn it around and has a church), and Lebron's mom are all scary crazy. It must of been tough growing up with no dad and a bat shit crazy mom.

Of course those guys are in the NBA are rich so any shit the mom does can be paid for and dealt with. But those are exceptions to the rule.

Unless one of their moms is fucking a teammate then its no big thing. Its not like lebron's out there smacking valets or causing a ruckus.

I agree. However, many athletes come from broken homes and pretty tragic upbringings, and manage to create some good out of that. I respect those who manage to bring their lives (and those of their families) together with as much dignity as possible when they have the means to do so. This doesn't appear to be one of those situations, but rather just another sad example of the LeBron ego-train crashing again. That's the saddest part, imo. "LeBron James said people are helping his mother with the situation, and that he was not at the hotel with her early Thursday. “It’s a sensitive subject,” LeBron James said after the Heat practiced Thursday afternoon. “It’s a personal matter. It’s being taken care of.” “You have to move forward,” the NBA’s two-time reigning MVP said. “It is my life and there’s certain things you have to deal with. You try not to let it be a distraction. I have a job to do, still.” " So, with these "people" who are "helping", what the hell was she doing at a Miami hotel, drunk and assaulting a valet at 5:00 in the morning??? Oh, these "people".... "According to the police report, James was released to Miami Heat executive Steve Stowe." I see....

just because i'm a masochist (and i'm waiting for a writer to file a story): Luke Walton made 1 basket in almost two months. since going 3-4 on Feb 14 (against Charlotte), he is 1-11
