You betcha.

I change my avatars when the seasons change...I had Kawhi up there forever though this time.

LMA is only 29 and with Leonard and Popp still around, that's a championship contender for the next 5 or 6 seasons, at least, regardless of when Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Tim Duncan retire.

I'm calling a Cavs-Spurs 2016 NBA Finals right now.  Hopefully Cleveland will be at full strength next time...

I think I'm gonna put some money down on this...Spurs in 6.

I think it still all depends on Parker's health. I still feel that without at least a healthy Parker, no chips for them.

On another note, Lakers getting Hibbert. I hate Hibbert but I think the Clips should gun for him at least, there's a very small chance that dude could come back to his old form in a new place.

As for the Lakers, they're probably regretting passing on Okafor now.

Clips are screwed. They have zero money for any center. Basically have to tread water for a season

I'm not so sure how well the Spurs are going to do even with Aldrige. They no longer have Baynes or Splitter, so I think they're missing some depth for the frontcourt.

They'll be fine. If West joins, that covers much of the loss. Still think that letting Splitter walk was a mistake.

it came down to splitter or LMA. pretty sure LMA wins that decision

Or be over the cap a bit? They could keep both guys if they wanted to.

Splitter was inconsistent his entire time with the Spurs. Duncan could play the 5, or Pop will change the offense to fit the new personnel.

Bring on Cleveland.

Aldrige can't play the 5 though. And neither can West. That leaves Duncan as the only 5 in the rotation (well I suppose Jeff Ayres counts, but he isn't passing 10 mp/g and Diaw isn't going to be able to sustain being the backup 5 for 82 games + playoffs).

We are all thinking in two dimensional terms not to mention there could still be changes to the line-up coming up.

I just want to see what kind of crazy line-up experiments Mad Scientist Pop will roll out this season

With what the Warriors did, I don't think you can say that anymore.
