Wow, the Celtics REALLY wanted Justise Winslow...

I wonder if Ainge turned around and offered that same package to Pat Riley once Charlotte picked Frank the tank...

Man... Kerr on the Zach Lowe podcast, what a snooze. Guy is one boring motherfucker. He wasn't this dull as an announcer.

What is MJ's obsession with big guys who eventually end up as busts?

Kobe's new teammates Larry Nance Jr.

It was from a few years back but there might be some awkwardness there.

LAL GM Mitch Kupchak said he & team PR boss John Black addressed Nance's Kobe tweet. Said Kobe & Nance will have to work it out themselves.

Oh, no! What's Kobe gonna do? Compare him to toilet paper?

cha cha cha charmin extra soft

i hate how automatically everybody searches twitter history and try to make a big deal out of it. as if people dont even change or never grow up

Honestly, just treat Kobe like the old, drunk guy that he is. Wait for him to tire out or hurt his hip,, whichever comes first. LAL aren't going anywhere next year so this Twitter drama is the least of their concerns

Do you think Kobe is a mean drunk? Like even a bigger dick, or is one of those dudes who magically becomes super cool and you just wish he were drunk all the time. I used to have a neighbor like that... lol.

LOL weren't there articles that claimed dude doesn't drink? Kinda like Brady who is on a super strict diet and all that.

But I can't imagine how much of a bigger jerk he'd be if he was drunk. You're more likely to get a mellow Kobe with some kush!

Brook Lopez is declining his player option with the Nets, so he's now a free agent. That was a mistake, IMO, because he has a history of foot problems and was set to be paid $16.7 mil in his final year.  I don't think there's any way he gets that much on the open market, but he can definitely help a lot of teams (if he stays healthy, that is...).

UFA? RFA?

BroLo seems like he'd be in a good place with a lack of post up dominant bigs in the market even with his foot injuries, but Lowe keeps talking about how a lot of front office executives think he's just a few years away from being out of the league

if everybody is thinking of going small these players are going to be the most valuable

RE: Kaminsky

Big white guys drafted with top 10 picks in the past 10 years:

2013: (4) Cody Zeller, (5) Alex Len

2011: (3) Enes Kanter, (5) Jonas Valanciunas, (6) Jan Vesely

2008: (5) Kevin Love

2007: (10) Spencer Hawes

2006: (1) Andrea Bargnani, (3) Adam Morrison

2005: (1) Andrew Bogut

2004: (8) Rafael Araujo

They all were pretty terrible minus Love. In fact, Love and Gordon Hayward were the only good white guys drafted in the top 10 for the past 10 years.

Other white guys in top 10:

Luke Jackson (#10 - 2004), Danilo Gallinari (#6 - 2008), Joe Alexander (#8 - 2008), Ricky Rubio (#5 - 2009), Gordon Hayward (#9 - 2010), Jimmer Fredette (#10 - 2011), Nik Stauskas (#8 - 2014)

I guess what I'm saying is that this draft has big bust potential with Kristaps Porzingis, Mario Hezonja, and Frank Kaminsky all going in the top 10.
