best team won. didn't think they would give MVP to Iggy, but they did.

now comes the stupidest part of any sports championship (or any significant sporting event for that matter). the interviews and the talking heads.

Damn,,, David Blatt looks like he wants to commit seppuku on that podium right now. I don't know if it's his droopy eyes or the cracks in his voice but this is the first time I've legit felt bad for him this season.

still think it's dumb to give finals mvp to somebody not lebron but watching the end i realized how shitty it would feel and look for lebron to get finals mvp as the warriors won. would be like kicking him in his surprisingly relatively small penis

my favorite part of the postgame interviews. "Doris" asking Klay how it felt for Draymond Green to be a second round pick and now a champion, all while Green was standing right behind them. why don't you fucking ask Draymond how he feels? are you an idiot??

i dont understand why they have to do the dumb questions part

I have a hard time watching the press conf. of the losing team in any sport. Actually, the winner's side is just as painful because of the dumb cliche sports questions. "What does them mean to you?" "How do you feel right now?" etc. and so forth. Blah, blah, blah.

a five guard lineup just won the nba championship against a 4 guard lineup

Jump shooting teams can't win the playoffs

And I'm really happy for Iguadolla dolla bill, too. Coming off the bench without an attitude to being the key to this championship. He gets my good guy award.

What a world we live in where the leader of the free world is Tweeting about Golden State's championship.

I hope he didn't read the reports of Jimmy Butler heading to LA frown.gif

This. He genuinely seems like a straight up good dude and considering the ego mania that is predominant in the NBA his sacrifice of a career starting job is pretty admirable. In short what Kerr is saying "TEAMS win championships". I can't help but be happy for guys whose first instinct is to congratulate and thank their teammates for having played the team game. Or you know… you can always be the best player in the world.
