Duncan. I love Shaq, but goddamn was he lazy. He underachieved his entire great career.

unfair, I don't want to choose from that puzzled.gif

it's funny how prime Duncan, Shaq and Hakeem are so much better than anything NBA has to offer right now.
Obviously game has changed and many 7ft players from 90s and 80s would get murdered on switches and p'n'rs.. but
still comparing these guys offensively to Dwight Howard is just LOL. This league needs another Duncan or Shaq it
would be more interesting. So many great defensive centers but somehow 90% of them sucks bad on offense, damn you nba.

If Duncan or Shaq were coming into today's league, they would be taught to shoot 3 pointers lol8[1].gif

I think Shaq would eat anyone who tried to get him to shoot 3s.

I just looked it up, he was 1/22 on 3pt attempts. happy.gif

Was Duncan really a bad 3-point shooter?  I remember Duncan hit that monster 3-pointer against the Suns in the playoffs to force overtime a handful of seasons ago, but that's obviously just one instance.  The NBA turned it into a commercial, though, and that shit has been stuck in my head since this conversation came up.

I looked it up when I looked up Shaq's. Duncan was 30/166 for his career, but he started taking more later in his career. He was never good, but certainly could hit a wide open look from time to time.

Wilt never made a single 3-pointer. Fail.

In a regulation game, anyway.

Twenty years from now, our children will be having "Dwight vs. DeAndre vs. Davis" debates.....

Wilt banged 20,000 women in the pre-AIDS era. *drops mic*

Well, sure. The pre-AIDS era. That's like dunking on grade school 8-foot rims.

I think it will be more like Wilt vs Davis. Howard and Jordan won't be in that conversation. Think it was Bill Simmons or someone that said to people who say we've never seen anyone like Davis, well we have, it was Wilt. For me though, I think the player with the most potential in the entire NBA is Giannis.

Wonder if Davis can do this, look at that standing vertical leap... anyone here seriously think he wouldn't own the league in any era?

so we're not even going to talk about warriors chances without klay? he hasn't been shooting well, but i dunno if this is an automatic win now. kyrie is back too
