NBA 2016-2017 Season Thread - Page 1476

Yeah, and that was sorely needed, but he also told his bosses to go fuck themselves at the same time. We don't know the back story but he definitely tried to embarrass ESPN at the same time he called out goodell.

But my real point is that he's just not as good a writer anymore. I think he's gotten jaded, arrogant and lazy. Hopefully this lights a fire under him

Who is this Austin Rivers and what has he done with the real Austin Rivers

His 25 points was literally the difference between the clips and rockets

He watched all the gifs of him falling over and decided it wouldnt happen again
Fun to watch, super enjoyable whether he's battling Harden or his own feet

Has anyone tried spritexlebron? Is it any good? Does it come in diet? Can I expect the refreshing citrus flavor with a cherry flavor?

JJ Redick and Austin Rivers had ridiculous games with 31 and 25, respectively. GM Doc looking kinda savvy now after trading for his son.

I was watching the games with a group of my buddies, and before the Clips game I went on an extended rant about how he's awful and is only in a meaningful role because of nepotism.

I think that's why he had such a good game laugh.gif

i loved this

My heart sank when I heard on the radio Rose made the game winning three

ffffuuuu.gif

Cool of Derrick Rose but sucks for Lebron

Bulls have more grit and can grind out this series I think. Cleveland is very glam. Let's see how they respond tomorrow.

That miller/sessions trade is looking pretty good for the wiz. Great ball movement without wall

Wall looks like a coach up there next to wittman

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I see. Thanks guys for the enlightment.
The funny thing is that, for french fans, the spurs is representing the "european" way of playing bb, probably because of Gino, TP and D-yo. Its funny how people in Europe dont realize how much french players how to the NBA.

Only watched the 1st half and end of Cle-chi but clevelands offense was fucking embarrassing. Lebron was isoing literally every possession. Not only that, he would just hold the ball against butler and jab step, jab step, jab step. It was awful. Now apparently kyrie has a bum foot. If that's true, lebron is just gonna ISO more and I don't see them winning the series. Honestly might be better for them--love goes out and they lose, then he feels appreciated and stays.

Here's to banked in buzzer beaters. That must be the absolute worst way to lose a playoff Graeme. This kinda sucks. I'm gonna miss all his basketball coverage. We're losing all of his podcasts w/ interesting ESPN employees as well. I don't think of him as a columnist at all now, but he's led a lot of creative stuff and I think his absence will be noticeable. A lose lose.

I still don't really like watching them. I think it's cuz their system is so balanced you can't rely on watching one star shoulder a huge burden and therefore amaze you consistently. Also hero ball is just really fun to watch when it works and they're not giving you that. I also watch a lot for breathtaking athleticism and they don't have much of that (besides Kawhi sometimes now).

Everyone respects the Spurs a ton, but that doesn't mean they watch em.

Yeah I watched in and out and didn't realize how great the bench was. I also don't understand how they lost without john wall playing. Ramon really stepped up on offense. I thought that last defense was played well even with the Schroeder switch onto pierce. Hate pierce so much

I wonder is Simmons' departure might not be good for the development office of the Grantland writers. Some of them are not untalented, but it's sometimes annoying how much they seem to be trying to write "like" Simmons. They may feel a bit more free now to develop their own voices.
