Rockets twitter feed... "Shhh. Just close your eyes. It will all be over soon."

Not exactly the best thing to write.

@ballmouse It got nice there for the last few minutes though. Some beautiful passes and fluidity from the Spurs.

Wow - really close game. Even though I wanted the Spurs to win, I kind of wanted it to go to OT.

Won't happen.

Clips are still a year away, and too immature.

All the whining about calls detracts from their game; and it should be interesting to see how much Doc gets fined for his post game comments.

You'd NEVER see Pop blaming a loss on the refs, especially when his team went 1/13 in 3s, and his bench got outscored 48-17.

If the Spurs win this series, do they face the Rockets or GS in their next series?

I thought that the low seed always faces the top seed, so SA ( 6th seed ) would face GS ( 1 seed ) and the Rockets ( 2nd seed ) would face winner of Memphis - Portland series ( 4th and 5th seeds ).

But many are saying that the Rockets will face the Spurs next series. What is correct?

rockets.

gsw is playing grizzlies

low seed always faces top seed in the first round. in the second round the winner of 1-8 plays the winner of 4-5. the winner 2-7 plays the winner of 3-6

games are still close even with the clips shit bench. clippers might take it. every game has been so damn close. if they can just not get technicals in one game or have one of the bench guys put in an outstanding game (like the last one) they could win it

The Clippers look to be the more talented team; they are making too many mistakes and allowing the Spurs to capitalize. They could have easily won the Series 4-1 in hindsight.

I think they need to revamp their bench next year even if they win this round as they're relying far too heavily on the starting lineup. Even though the Cavs have a very short bench (Thompson, Shumpert, Jones/Delladedova) - Thompson and Shumpert are good, consistent players that bring more than scoring (which isn't really needed when you have the starting 5 they have - Clippers have a similar case I think). What exactly are Crawford/Rivers/Davis bringing the Clippers other than giving the starting 5 a rest?

I think they need to get a good ballhandler/playmaker and a better big if they can afford it - and if not, a 3+D swingman (someone like Ariza or Aminu). Crawford/Rivers/Davis could potentially stay, but not as the 6th, 7th, and 8th men off the bench respectively.

Doc needs to recognize and find a good GM to build a good bench. Its like he's trying to be the Bill Belichick of the NBA, but clearly he's deficient in finding role players/managing the cap/managing assets and draft picks.

DeAndre might bolt for max monies so shit will get interesting.

I actually think DeAndre was thinking: "oh shit blake is going to miss again!" on that offensive interference (because of so many in-and-outs, near misses from blake earlier in the game) and actually was smart to crash the rim because it looked like it might pop out. it seemed like a 50/50 play and he got caught making the touch. in reality though DeAndre needs to just fucking work on his free throws because hack a deAndre kind of worked last night.

I came to post this same thing. 5 or 6 mins remaining in the 4th, I started to see the Los Angeles Whiners show up. The hands started going in the air. Doc Rivers started his sideline histrionics, and then boom Paul zips the ball to the ref and a tech. Shortly after, Crawford gets owned on a fast break and whines, then Blake gets the ball poked and (you guessed it) hands in the air. 2 or 3 more instances.

When this bullshit started, I knew the Clippers were done. They can't overcome their own nature and so they (as the more talented team) lose. It's entitlement. Doc can't yell "we gotta win this ourselves" for the cameras and then give his team license to whine.

This team is not a year away, they are on the verge of being broken up before being real contenders. They are facing a Spurs team where Parker looks like shit (save for some passages tonight) and Splitter is playing on 1 leg and are still losing.

He did this shit last year against the Thunder. "Guys, I don't complain much"... uh huh.
