magic and hornets have the weirdest teams ever

magic have three up and coming non shooters (payton, dipo, gordon) and their frontcourt has no rim protection

hornets have non shooters at every position and also no rim protection

i don't know how they improve in the future. you can survive without shooting if you have defense but neither team has either. shooting takes a long time to develop too. kidd and parker took like 2, 3 years to develop into respectable shooters.

Say "rim protection" one more time and idfnl will appear.

Harden v Curry v Westbrook. How crazy is it that Lebron isn't anywhere close to this conversation? And KD too but that's an injury thing more than anything.

And Neo makes a good point about AD. The dude was the runaway MVP early on, and can still probably make a compelling case purely on stats. But he's not gonna get it over those three

If AD had a better team he would take it

When was the last time a player in a non-playoff team taken the MVP?

If AD wasn't hurt and they squeaked in at 8th place, there is a big chance he would have taken it.

AD is still being mentioned in the conversation just behind Westbrook and about the same level as Lebron.

The reason I put Westbrook over AD is because AD missed even more games than Westbrook and his team is missing the playoffs. There's a rational basis for picking Westbrook, but not really one for AD given how this season has gone. If the Pelicans get in and the Thunder fall out, maybe that changes the answer.

EDIT: I didn't reload before posting, but essentially what RFX says.

But Klay missed a lot of open shots and Dray took a game off. As long as we can keep everyone healthy for the playoff run, I like our chances to make a deep run.

And then Curry did this to CP3 ...

curry didn't do anything he stepped on his foot

As previously noted, he was already off balance when that happened.

jet would be too cool to hop on any other LA team than the Lakeshow. He would demand Kobe to put on pads and get in the slot.

Kings Lakers Dodgers

Not a rams fan but if they come back I got no choice, would prefer the raiders.
