Injuries just really killed me this past few weeks and I'm really screwed if none of them comes back strong next week.
I had a new found interest to get $$$ to get me part way to a ToJ leather. Pure fire!

freakin nice win for the lakers last night.

whenever they say lakers won against top teams, they only list celtics, sanant, orlando, okc. etc.

they never mention that we beat chicago twice. no one ever remembers that for some reason. or at least the media never remembers it or acknowledges it.

maybe it is because the first chicago win we had was early in the season when they werent consdiered a top team yet.

that was a good'un, especially since the o was off the tracks. they won that game, and won it big, just on grit and defense. and i hate to rub it in, but damn that bynum. he makes such a difference when he's on the floor. he doesn't score a lot of points, but boy does he seal the center. pau plays good defense for a strong forward, but he just can't bring the swats the way bynum does.

uh, the season series with the bulls is 1-1. lakers won first, then bulls won. they're an east team so lakers only play them twice.

weird i thought we beat them twice. i know we onluy play east teams twice.
i remember we had a n easy time beating them both times. my memory may be mixing games from last season.

maybe, but for sure this year it's 1-1.

interesting article on the "bynum effect" in the always entertaining Silver Screen and Roll. To cut to the chase ...

Kevin Garnett, probably the greatest defensive player of this generation, leads the league in average defensive rating (which is what I calculated for Drew times 100) at 94.5. Dwight Howard nips at his tail with 94.9. In the past 11 games, Drew is at 92.2. Add in the blocks and the rebounds, and these aren't breakout numbers, they are Defensive Player of the Year numbers.
he does point out, of course, that drew would have to get those numbers over an entire season in order to be considered ... wishes and fishes and all that.
