who the fuck voted kobe and wade? do they watch basketball?
take out kobe and you get one spot; who would you take out for the other? duncan?

wade isn't a starter so the coaches voted him in. he's actually been good this year when he's played (35/55 games). don't think the heat should have 2 all-stars but it's not an outright travesty. plus he's gonna give up his spot.

boogie for durant (not saying boogie is better overall, but durant hasnt played much this season. no reason for a nod) and lillard for kobe

wade might not have sucked but korver deserves the spot over wade

i feel like pau might put up occasionally gaudy numbers, but he's so damn slow on the defense and he can't post up like he used to. he mostly does those mid range jumpers that he's pretty good at but not as good as getting to the rim

Pau still has hops (bunnies and the occasional open, driving lay-up) but yeah, dude looks like he goes super slow motion

kind of not basketball related, but i thought it was funny

the hawks twitter account person has been adding a W to their twitter name for every consecutive name. they have so many wins they had to move the H to the picture

Tim has already taken a pay cut, and is still producing. I'd give him a 2 yr around the same $.

Manu's never been a favorite of mine; I'd give him a lower salary or the same money, take it or leave it.

Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard need to be PAID and kept at whatever is reasonable- Green probably at 9 or even 10 mm, Kawhi at whatever he wants w/in reason and close to Duncan.

Parker needs to take a cut to keep the team together.

Pop already signed a "mutiyear" extension last summer. But no one knows for how long. He turns 66 today so I'll guess 3 or 5.

I don't understand why they've paid Diaw and Splitter what they have. I'd be giving them restructuring offers, again to keep the team together.

Overall, given what those 2 got, I'm thinking the organization is willing to spend more $. Which it will need to do.

I think your ideas regarding Duncan are good, just a little premature.

Spurs need to replace him with a big name free agent when the time comes- but how or who?

Bill Simmons in his trade value article said Nikola Pekovic, but he's obviously not a big name and he's already pushing 30. He's serviceable, though.

We're not far apart save for Leonard and Green.

Perhaps a pay cut with Duncan involves playing fewer games, or something, or only home games.

Regarding his eventual replacement, I'd start by taking a shot at drafting the best PF available at the time, who knows. Per Pekovic above, since they have Splitter, they need to draft a more traditional PF, not necessarily a center. Milsap probably isn't going to want to leave his situation in ATL. If you give a rookie a year to show some spark, that takes you to 2016, but there is almost nobody coming available to fill that spot, and not a lot of trade options. Could Aron Baynes be the solution sitting right on the bench already?
