If Durant is frustrated with Westbrook and Reggie Jackson, I would imagine he'd be positively appalled with Melo jacking long contested 2-pointers all day...My money is on his hometown Wizards.

this. when the triangle is run right, there is alwaysthe opportunity for a slasher and a back-side cut. the problem with the triangle is that it requires players to move constantly and to think on their feet. this is harder than it sounds, apparently. the benefit of a pnr offense is that it's essentially a 2 or 3 man game that everyone has grown up playing since high school. it doesn't need to be taught and it doesn't need discipline. plus, lots of break time.

The first four options of a triangle set

The thing is you get a lot penetration without ever having to dribble just from smart passing. The cutters also suck in defenders, draw attention, and demands respect no matter the players skill set.

It might seem overwhelming at first but the rules really help because the ball handlers know when any rule is about to be triggered which helps them be a step ahead of the defense.

You can see how a pick n roll offense is actually baked into the triangle

You can also see in his footage example how most of the shots tend to be long twos but also how they can easily be threes or layups

Eh, those "my super secret source hinted that Durant might be getting frustrated with Westbrook" stories have been floating around since the ABA days.

Listened to the BS Report, interesting thing that they brought up I was also noticing in fantasy, which is my guys were producing solid lines during away games. Turns out this year will be the lowest winning % for home teams ever by quite some margin. Home court advantage is disappearing.

Yeah, agreed, which is why I said "if" because I'm rather skeptical myself. I still think he's going to Washington, though, whether he actually hates Westbrook or not.

All-star reserves in:
WESTERN CONFERENCE

Guard: James Harden, Houston Rockets, 3rd selection
Guard: Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors, 1st selection
Guard: Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder, 4th selection
Guard: Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers, 8th selection
Frontcourt: Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder, 6th selection
Frontcourt: LaMarcus Aldridge, Portland Trail Blazers, 4th selection
Frontcourt: Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs, 15th selection

Notable omissions: Boogie, Lillard, Conley

EASTERN CONFERENCE
Guard: Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks, 1st selection
Guard: Kyrie Irving, Cleveland Cavaliers, 3rd selection
Guard: Jimmy Butler, Chicago Bulls, 1st selection
Guard: Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat, 11th selection
Frontcourt: Al Horford, Atlanta Hawks, 3rd selection
Frontcourt: Paul Millsap, Atlanta Hawks, 2nd selection
Frontcourt: Chris Bosh, Miami Heat, 10th selection

Notable omission: Korver

Injury replacements for Kobe and Wade will most likely result in one more West and one more East wildcard making it.

Potentially iffy selections? Durant, maybe Duncan, Wade, maybe Bosh.

I personally don't think Durant should have made it, as silly as it would have been to have an All-Star game w/o him.

boogie and lillard is glaring noteable omission. durant has barely played this season

who the fuck voted kobe and wade? do they watch basketball?
