That is probably the best offensive game you'll see from Jordan. He is just that put backs or alley-oops kind of guy, he isn't a guy you feed the ball to in the post like Kaman or Griffin. He is a hustle player that is very athletic and tall and long (pause).

i agree, but sometimes it's better to have a complementary player than it is to have another star. it's kind of like gasol/bynum but on a less-talented level. bynum doesn't have to be a dominating post player ... he just has to be good enough to prevent the double on pau and clean up the misses. this is not to compare bynum and jordan talent-wise, just the role they play on their respective teams.

I agree, I like Jordan and his role and I prefer him starting over Kaman. Kaman can score and eaily double-double over the bench but you can kind of see their defense dwindle when he is on the court and Jordan leaves. Also, they lose some speed and athleticism, I've already seen in more than 2 occasions when Bledsoe tries to lob the ball to Kaman thinking it's Jordan but Kaman just doesn't jump that high so they lose the opportunity to score in that play.

I've long said Atlanta has the worst sports fans in the country. I don't mean like they are annoying shitheads like other cities, but like, the home arena will sell visiting team jerseys for more than the Hawks. And the other team's sell out.

"Kobe Bryant T-shirts ($30) were for sale right next to Al Horford ($25) shirts in the official team gear store Tuesday night. Team vice president of public relations Arthur Triche said Knicks gear also was sold at Sunday night's game against New York.

(UPDATE: The Kobe shirts are now sold out. Still some Horfy shirts left.)

Several Hawks fans have vented their frustrations about this on Twitter. "I can see where people would be upset about it," Triche said."

Now, I'd like to point out I routinely get shit for saying this but IT IS FUCKING TRUE.

More from Jeff Schultz with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

"It's one thing to lose to the Lakers. It's another to welcome them into your home and fix them a sandwich.

Then again, Philips Arena is starting to resemble at best a neutral site. Loud, drunk and obnoxious Knicks fans (triple redundancy?) took over Sunday. Slightly less drunk, loud and obnoxious Lakers fans (but strong in numbers) took over Tuesday."

Absolutely embarrassing.

I am glad I don't like any Atlanta teams.

Add to that the city has virtually no knowledge about their teams, is completely ignorant of how sports are played, and at best, has support for teams that is 3/4 mile wide and 1/8 inch deep.

I'd root for the Clippers if Sterling wasn't the owner. Jet should buy the franchise and we can make it ***The Official SF NBA Team***

Sterling just posted in WAYWRN right now.

I'm waiting with baited breath to read the fit critiques.
