He's not ever healthy tho but they have enough depth to ply without him

Definitely a big IF when it comes to his health but how can you pass it up when all you have to give up is Lamb?

Lol giving up Reggie bullock and a 2nd rounder for Austin rivers.

Lopez doesn't really fit w/ the okc offense...you don't really need anybody else sucking up shots in the post, right? He's not exactly the kind of player to do rim runs after a screen and open up the court. Plus he's been healthy for awhile and he's not doing much in Brooklyn. Guess it might not hurt (except $17 mil next year, Jesus), but hard to say it'll be an improvement.

Man the Okc defense was pretty bad tonight. Also waiters had the most shots on the team heh

I originally thought Josh Smith was like Carmelo; so-so to good stats, but just not good at helping his team win.

That is until I actually looked at Josh Smith's stats and he is shooting 41% on FGs, 19.2% on 3s, and 40% on FTs for the Rockets. He's also averaging 2.2 APG to 2.8 TOs. How the hell could this guy possibly help out a team with stats like that?

he is 100% in the upside cat

Lopez can definitely help OKC since they are in dire need of a post presence/offense.

He is still recovering from what I understand and coming off bench (until recently?) and he has been getting less minutes but the mere threat in the paint helps them.

Russy and KD will get their shots and really Russy is the only one that can stop KD. lol8[1].gif

One part that Barkley said that I agreed with is that once their jumpshot stop dropping, they are pretty much screwed. It's a good option to have someone in the post to make moves and score. OKC has been live or die by the J.

And again, Lamb is doing nothing for OKC so if they could get Lopez and stash him in the bench or get a productive 15-20 minutes out of him then that is a good deal.

its true tho. lamb gets buried in their bench and lopez might provide something. but he's going to cost $17 mill next season. wont that put them in luxury tax?

he looks slow tho

Lol dude is lucky not to have a limp lol8[1].gif

If still consider that progress.

Btw, your Teague/Kemba offer has been racking my brain for the past week
post #19676 of 27250
dude i kinda like the deal. kemba has 12 playoff games to teague's 10. it's just for me i thought drum's FGP would be better and now that it's not kemba's FGP is not so good for me

Well they definitely don't need a post presence imo, if anything they just need a new coach and offense.

I think I agree w/ you that they might as well try to get him. But I do think you're overvaluing him...guy is a 26 yo 7"2 center w/ offensive skills, if he was good brooklyn would keep him instead of firesaling him in the same category as deron Williams and joe Johnson. He's been back from injury since 12/23 and still can't start over plumlee so he's as healthy as he's ever gonna be.

okc should trade for a good coach. but nobody free really left now. maybe karl
post #19679 of 27250
It's been quite on that end, we need to bash on brooks alittle more. I don't know how good a coach he is, but having 3 all stars/hall of fame talent players on your roster is going to cover up any coaching deficiency. I don't see how he has made his players better teammates and/or better players by incorporating them into a cohesive system. What has brooks done for them lately?

It's a solid trade. That's what is fucking my head. Drummond is busting my balls in my other league. Was expecting his numbers to rise not b.jennings. But I think that fg % goes up 3-5 percent from now until season end
