Plus Blatt has coached Mozgov in the Russian team so they already have a good relationship.

If you have a fantasy team, I have two words for you - Jusuf Nurkic.

Run, don't walk

That asshole roman already picked him up a week ago

Already has the brow and curry. Has to use his future seeing powers to pick up good free agents too

Watch tho how in five years we'll be shitting on cavs for overpaying a bald lebron, giving up two all stars for a center who played half a season, still haven't won a ring. Cuz they used up all their luck up with consecutive number 1 picks

Shit, I misread that blurb on the trade. Mozgov for two firsts?!? I thought it was two seconds and said, meh, I guess it's fair.

What the hell do they see in him that I'm missing

Well, that depends on the types of injuries you're concerned with, and of course where you were starting from.

I think it's more so they have no other choice to improve at the 5 in the short term. I think they got fleeced in one sense but I think it's a good deal and the best they could do. The other option was koufos or Brandan Haywood and they don't really have time to develop new players

I think tho worst case scenario they could turn into the knicks

just got back from atlanta-memphis. atlanta is so good...shots weren't even falling today and they clamped down on D. memphis was super sloppy, you can tell they really miss zbo. lottta minutes for koufos (played twin towers at times w/ gasol!), leuer, and calathes in crunchtime, which is weird. in crunchtime they were playing calathes and udrih and prince w/ conley and gasol for a stretch. they badly need pondexter to get to pre-injury form.

atlanta is so freaking deep. they have players of every category who are at least serviceable (quick backup pg = schroeder, bench shooter w/ no conscience = mike scott, stretch 5 = antic, wing stopper = sefolosha to go along w/ their very solid starting unit.

oh man, you could just feel it in the crowd whenever korver even came close to getting the ball, it was amazing. crowd was very very good for a regular season game (in atlanta), most of the lower bowl was standing w/ 90 secs left. you shoulda seen it when korver got the ball totally alone on the wing up 5 on a broken play w/ 60 secs left, everyone was going nuts before he even caught it. drained it of course.

oh and i saw tony allen miss at least 3 point blank layups (he also made some). great night.

I think barring injury it'll turn out ok

i think it was a decent move, but given that there were at least 2 options for them, both more or less comparable (koufos and mozgov), you think they woulda been able to get one of them for just 1 first. mozgov isn't bad but he isn't an above-average overall nba player and at 28, he's not going to improve. the thing he's still most known for is getting dunked on repeatedly.

it's astounding koufos is 25 lolol given his hair situation i thought he was like 32.

i mean when you think about it, last year washington gave up a 1st rounder and got marcin gortat, so the return on these 2 1sts....

oh this is interesting, i didn't know that. can't hurt.

Thinking about it you're right. I'm pretty sure Memphis didn't want to deal koufos and Denver knew how badly cavs wanted a rim protecting 5. Kinda got fleeced but Denver knew how desperate they were

yea that makes sense. funny that denver won the trade, given those articles earlier this year saying that the nuggets had an amateur for a gm. also LOL look at this pic, is it even real?? it's like blake gave dude two eternal black eyes from those dunks

Their current roster is pretty much all constructed when Ujiri was there. Then he got the fuck out.

So Pistons just beat Spurs and mavs. They're up against Hawks next. Sounds like a really good game

Kobe back at it, 2/12.

Dude, at this point, just say something when he has a decent night. Goddamn.

Then he'd be abandoning his trolling job.

But in all seriousness, I really think Steve needs to warn this fool again and to just post his fantasy stats aggravations in the fantasy thread so we don't have to deal with the whining and bitching every time Kobe steps on the court.

Kobe's shooting woes are topical.
