Isn't this his last year of a rookie contract? That probably has more bearing on this than anything.

I secretly hoped for an epic battle between forces of good and evil that will go into 4-5 overtimes.

Was at courtside at last nights Clippers game (they call it courtside though not really on the wood, still a row behind it) and I swear, every women in our row were getting wet over Korver. lol8[1].gif They were just waiting until he got close enough to get some pics.

Terrible game by the Clips too, they really need to upgrade that damn bench. Farmar was so cringeworthy, missed all his shot and when CP3 has a bad scoring night, they are pretty much screwed as there is no one to pick up the slack. Even worse when Crawford doesn't get close to his average. Doc has resulted to playing the starters longer and I think that will be a problem later on. I know these guys are still young but I already see these guys get gassed in the 4th, it's just gon' be a bigger problem around the playoffs time.

Also, the Hawks are so underrated right now it's crazy. Number 1 in the East and just finished 3-0 on a Westcoast trip and not even a single Atlanta Hawks beat writer joined them on the trip. Spurs of the East indeed.

Yeah, no mainstream coverage at all but plenty of bloggers and podcasters hype the Hawks like crazy. It's nuts. #smallmarketproblems

I really like watching the Hawks games. Everything they do is so pretty. Also Schroeder is one of my favorite up and coming players. Now if only millsap and horford could protect the rim well and have good post defense.

^ i never expected to hear that about the hawks. wish they were on tv more; i like pretty

looked at the playoff matchups as of todays standing. lots of compelling matchups. every western matchup looks insanely fun even with the glaring absence of Thunder

Damn, didn't realize the Thunder are still out. I'm genuinely interested in seeing what Waiters will do for the team. Seeing Russ go 5 for 26 got old real fast.....

It's hard but I think okc might make the 8th seed.

Hawks do a lot of nifty stuff running korver off screens that are actually decoys for action down low or on the weak side. A lot of motion stuff and they do also like running triangle sets with variations like pinch post with flare screens from the corner instead of guards cutting and rubbing shoulders with the big

People are really scared of korver shooting and it opens up a lot of space for Teague and Schroeder to get to the basket. Carroll and millsap have serviceable threes that keep defenders on their toes. Antic can also play a stretch four but he can defend fives. It's just really fun to watch.

Thinking about it, it's kinda similar to what Kerr does

They're rated #1 by ESPN this week.
