happy new year everyone!

poor suns team, hope they draft well in the late lottery.

my money's on the spurs team for the most homerific. sean elliot is straight-up unlistenable. thunder announcers are also not very good about it

i wonder if he's literally the 1st player to do what he's done. gone from the 30th pick in the draft into a defensive specialist into a player way over-his-head on offense to a great 2nd option and holding his own as a top option. seriously wtf??? his development is insane. paul george was similar but he was the 10th pick!

Duncan is actually worse than Parker. About the only thing I dislike about his game.

Spurs certainly struggling these days. Leonard really proving his value and inching closer to that max contract.

Kawhi and danny green saving the franchise. I think Cory Joseph has a solid place in their future too

Splitter too. Anderson looks servicable. Mills and Diaw will be around a while.

I don't think we'll see a complete re-load like the-uh- LAKERS BABY LAKERS.

well it'd be hard to outdo the lakers but when timmy and manu retire in a year or two the spurs better hope pop sticks around for a few more. otherwise you have an aging tony parker who misses 15-20 games a year, a potential star in kawhi (probably not a superstar), and not much else. all those players you listed are good depth and max out as average starters. don't think that team'd make the playoffs. of course the spurs draft like crazy so who knows who they'll unearth by then.

This has always been the knock and they've managed.

Pop sticking around would be idea, but they guy is getting old. Maybe he has a successor selected. He'd be harder to replace than anyone there.

Pop just signed a multiyear extension last summer. And the Spurs have only missed the Playoffs 2 years in their existence since 1973.

Damn, Serge Ibaka turned himself into a legit stretch-4 this season. Impressive.

wow really? that's incredible. when thinking about it more, i'd adjust to say the spurs will likely continue making the playoffs, given their system and such, but i wouldn't be surprised if they missed it a year or two. a lot depends on the western conference; it's not always going to be this crazy. there's no way they'd contend for a championship, obv, w/o a star free agent or star through the draft.

i hope pop doesn't retire anytime soon. he has said repeatedly that he sees himself retiring the same time duncan does, but hopefully that's not the case.

I'm a big fan of these tribute videos by teams for former players. Lebron, carter, rondo videos brought some feels to my cold cold heart
