I realize his PER is through the roof… but 17 games into the season, in last place… seems like #3 in the world is just a bit of hyperbole at this point.

i dunno man. i don't know if he can keep it up but he has been a world-destroyer this year so far. they're 8-9 in the west and the 2nd best player on his team is uhhhh....omer asik?? zach lowe said he's been the best player in the league this year, and i'm not sure i can argue w/ that. only competition so far is curry and harden, we'll see what happens.

in related news, look at the top 7 seeds in the west, ommfg

the seventh seed in the west is projected to win 59 games!!!

Tyreke Evans been a beast this year, well for the handful games I saw him play at least.

Feel bad for another Gordon injury, dude was the third/fourth best SG (before Harden left OKC) in the league before he got traded away from the Clips and then injuries just plagued him even further.

Just caught the end of that NYK-CHA game..........damn, I thought that JR Smith "buzzer beater" few weeks ago was sad.....smh

San Antonio beats Memphis at Memphis. Tim Duncan has a triple double...

Tasty stuff...

he puts up a lot of stats but he's down to 40% shooting and 61% from the line now w/ a bunch of turnovers and tons of dribbling, i dunno.

yea it's a shame about gordon, he was playing like a d-leaguer this year b4 getting injured again, right?

Evans has been average at best. Shooting % is a disaster. Too many turnovers. Basically what you said.

I have him in fantasy, so it's cringe worthy watching some of those reds light up with missed shot after missed shot.

I have Kobe, Stephenson, Evans... a recipe for FG % category killer if I've ever seen one. I've actually started sitting them.

is that dude ever going to get old?
He's got the ideal game for old players - fundamentals and obsessively honing a few go-to skills, never dependent on speed or athletic ability. He's like the old guy on the playground that keeps beating all the youngsters by making every shot, always getting himself open, and defending with leverage, positioning and a few sly tricks

Major concern for people his age is injury and Pop does an excellent job managing his workload while having great fun trolling the league and the fans

I've only seen 2 or maybe 3 Pelican games and he was looking like the ROTY Evans again, dude was driving at will and sinking crazy shots.
