Espn showed a highlight comparing stats from drosay's MVP season to Westbrook last year and they looked awefully similar. Do you think if Durant misses around 20-25 games and westy can keep this team above .500, that we can see back-2-back okc mvps?

Bulls looking good! Taj still a beast

Ahhh yes the 1,2 knick punch that was known as Charlie ward and Chris childs. Child's got suspended for 2 games and was fined only 15k (lost salary for 2 games too). It's incredible how the game has changed, I suspect a closed fist punch against an NBA superstar in today's NBA would cost 5+ games

Bulls look solid all around and without J.B too. All the bigs got their stats which really surprised me. Bulls looks scary I've circled all the cavs/bulls matchups

I think NBA is better off without fighting lol, sometimes refs are too quick to call a flagrant but overall NBA changed for the better imo. If you wanna watch fighting watch MMA instead.

Anyway you can laugh Dwight Howard or Kobe have never been in a fight(like this is something to be proud about or means anything) but they would still deck 95% of the people due to their sheer strength/quickness advantage over random people like myself.

Russy spends just as much energy celebrating as he does making the shot. Love it.

Interestingly enough, today's players are so much more deserving of a punch in the face than the players from the previous decade. The whining, flopping, cuddling etc.

I wouldn't make any bold proclamations from the first game, I like the bulls lineup but gasol and rose could easily miss half a season (and rose did not look that good yesterday going up against that defensive monster, shane larkin). Knicks are going to surprise people. We are going to take our lumps early as the system takes time and so many new players on the team but we'll be there at the end.

The Knicks was actually impressive the first few minutes of the game. Some of those plays and execution with Dalembert passing or shooting from mid range and making it made them look like they've made a quick adjustment and then it kind of fell apart there as the game went on. I think by early or late December they'd be much better.
