there isn't enough minutes to go around in Bulls frontline so they look to add Kevin Love, makes sense

Teams seem to have lost their shit over KLove. Any other player that has a 15 and 17 win season in his resume, people would tread cautiously but everyone seems to be willing to give up players that probably work better for them than KLove. Imagine him in Chicago, how do you play Noah, Gasol and Love and who will play wing/elbow defense?

This doesn't make any sense. Jimmy Butler is a 2-guard and Taj Gibson is a PF like K-Love is. This trade would replace one PF with another, so you're still going to have a playing time dilemma in your frontcourt and on top of that you're losing a defensive ace from your backcourt.

I should have added it was sarcasm, makes no sense at all to me either
also I wouldn't like to part with Jimmy Butler, every team needs a stopper like him

anyway stop hate on Love, they said same thing about Gasol, he didn't achieve much with Grizz
same will be with Love this dude can ball, if he joins a good team he will be in the playoffs, still putting up same numbers

Oh yeah, my bad, I should've caught onto that...basketball be srs bsns, doe.

anyways Butler and Gibson is weak package compared to Cavs, what use would minny have from 2 vets...
it's not like they are in the playoff hunt lol, anyway if I was Gibson I would be pissed after giving 110% to Bulls
and in return being shipped to Castle Black of the NBA

i don't think gasol will be playing all 48 minutes anyways. or he'll split time at the 4 and 5 as a backup. right now they have noah, gibson, and gasol in the backcourt. noah, love, and gasol is a huge upgrade offensively and not too terrible defensively

you guys should actually watch love play. he's decent at defending but in crunch time all the timberwolves tend to foul instead of keeping their hands up. they get desperate. love is about average as a pick and roll defender and he's pretty decent as a post defender. his offense more than makes up his average defense. when every defending is watching you just being near by you gives you clean shots. i would imagine thibs would be able to turn love into a plus defender

^well I am serious

Shaq in Lakers in those three-peat years was an unstoppable beast, pure domination like Jordan. Still longevity wise he is more or less same as Bryant both will give you 10years of being top5 player in the game. I feel Shaq was more consistent player and he rarely ever had bad games in playoffs. Bryant is more on/off player(like his poor finals game7 vs Celtics). I think Shaq is slightly better in his prime because of that. Also he won 3 as the man, and Bryant 2

also Kobe was contained by Pistons and Celtics in those finals losses, Shaq on the other hand.. even in lost finals was not contained

1995 Finals
28.0 ppg, 12.5 rpg, 6.3 apg, 2.50 bpg, .595 FG% 4 games L

2000 Finals
38.0 ppg, 16.7 rpg, 2.3 apg, 2.67 bpg .611 FG% 6 games W

2001 Finals
33.0 ppg, 15.8 rpg, 4.8 apg, 3.40 bpg, .573 FG% 5 games W

2002 Finals
36.3 ppg, 12.3 rpg, 3.8 apg, 2.75 bpg, .595 FG% 4 games W

2004 Finals
26.6 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 1.6 apg, 0.60 bpg, .631 FG% 5 games L

Same thing I said. He's not as bad as people make him out to be. Anyone that can rebound like him is valuable.

Now, CHI... Butler... that kid is special, no way I'd ever trade him. Any CHI team is going to come up against Lebron and Butler defends him very well, was the best until Leonard decided to one up.

CLE is going to make the deal. He'll be great on that team. Verajao, if he can stay healthy, provides good rim protection. Haywood is serviceable. Not a lot of centers left out there in FA, maybe Okafor.

Sorry, as a laker fan of more than 20 years, this is crazy talk. Shaq could be a beast when he wanted to be, particularly in the playoffs. you're point is half-valid if you only look at the stats and only for those years. remember that Kobe started that run when he was 17 (Shaq was 23 and just rounding into his -- short-lived -- prime). Lord knows what Shaq could have accomplished if he'd had an ounce of work ethic. but that wasn't the case. I can't remember many players -- Jordan is one, maybe Johnson but in a very different way -- who have been able to dominate a game the way Bryant could. He's a very special player.

Have you seen him play? If this deal goes through, Pop is getting his second thumb ring next year.
